I have myself scheduled to take 16 PTs between now and the test date. That's roughly 3 a week and the plan for right now. If I feel burnt out I pull back some.

For PT 20, Game 2 (library budget committee) did anyone split the game boards? Or are there just too many options?

7Sage didn't but I initially did into a few and I wonder if it was just a waste of time

Edit: I don't want to see the LG from PT 21 EVER AGAIN!

It varies. I try to put in 3 hours a night, but only 3-4 weeknights. I reserve one or two of those weeknights for the SO. For September, I plan on working through lunches (1 hour) and spending 3 hours a night, four nights a week. I'm also taking off 5 days during Sept. to PT.

If you work a lot of overtime, it might be worth it to have a chat with your supervisor and see if they're willing to cut your overtime for September. My supervisor was much more willing to than I thought she'd be. She was cool with the random days off, too.

ETA: I should note that my three hours include getting up to eat, walking my dog, chatting with my roommate for a few mins, etc. So maybe 2.5 hours a night of actual studying.

about 1-1.5 hours on weekdays.... I stay after work and study here to avoid traffic. This really depends on your outside committments besides work and your prep. Weekends is where most of my study hours seem to be coming from.

During the week I set my alarm for 5:30 so I can start studying by 6 am and I study until 8 am. I am the most productive in the morning and there aren't a lot of distractions either (I am lucky enough to have a 10 min walk to work) then after work I go to the gym and then I do about an hour of studying. I don't study after work on Fridays. Saturdays are PT days and review later that day if I have it in me or I do my deep review on Sundays (4-5 hours on Sunday). I took a few Mondays off to get a few extra PTs in.

Since I'm taking a class, 2 days a week I practice from 6-10. On the other weekdays, I put in about 3.0 hrs (0.5 during lunch and 2.5 after dinner) doing the corresponding homework. PTs on Saturday and drilling/review on Sundays. I'm going to take 13 more PTs until the test - a little more than 2 a week on average.

Finding the time and staying motivated - especially after work - is very difficult. Coffee during during the day has been a necessity. Law school here I come?

I need to start doing this, but it's soooo hard to get up that early. I don't go to work until 9:30 and only have a 5 min walk, so I don't get up until like 8:45 usually. I could easily do two hours in the morning.

Took PT 57 this morning.

Score: 172

LG: -1
LR1: -5
LR2: -1
RC: -2

I'm starting to consistently score at or above 170, and that pleases me.

ETA: I took this as a 6 section test, with section 3 (LR) and section 4 (LG) being the experimental sections.

Yeah I did terrible on that one too. RC's been killing me.

I know its tough, but I am used to it now. It took about a week to get used to, but this is my third and final time taking the LSAT so I need to give it my all. There's only 5 more weeks. Also, my roommate wakes up at 5 and goes on a run and comes back to study for an hour for the CFA before she gets to work by 7:30 am. I would much rather have a solid 2 hours in the morning than think about having to study after work.

It definitely makes sense and with only 5 weeks left I need to start doing it. I think that I'll start getting up at like 7:30 at least, that way I have an hour. Then I'll slowly move it earlier. Ugh. I guess it'll help with waking up early on test day.

Really starting to stress about only have 5 weeks. :( :?

PT 67

172 (my fifth test in a row 170+, which is the main plus coming out of this one)

RC: -1
LR1: -1
LG: -4 (ugh)
LR2: -2

I expected a bigger curve considering how tough LG was. Particularly the zones game. But even the easy game had a little twist.

ETA: I guess the other positive is that it's my third test in a row going no worse than -4 on non-LG. If I can pull that off in October I'll be happy.

I think I still prefer zones to dinos, but both are really tough.
