This is probably the single greatest advantage of this site. If you come in with the "I want to be a lawyer" mindset, it really sets you straight and makes you answer "Why, and what does that mean to you?" Forcing you to learn what it is you really want, and if you can "settle" for less than the best to achieve it.

After a few months here it wasn't even hard to turn down a full-ride to a T20.

Didn't really study today, my anxiety came back last night so I just did a few games. I've been drilling games hard the last few days, and my body probably was saying I need to chill out. Today was a good rest day....even though I could not stay away from studying completely lol

Gonna get back into prepping tomorrow with a Cambridge LG packet, a timed RC, and hopefully a timed LR.

I have the entire month of August off, so I'll be going my hardest every weekday.

It's sad, but I'm actually excited about studying. Gains are a beautiful thing.

I am pretty new to this forum and what do all of those acronyms in the poll mean?? EDIT: I looked at rankings and figured it out lol

I'm going T-8ish or bust. My 3.7x is unideal, but I am doing pretty well on the LSAT, and I have a backup job if every school rejects me.

when you drill (for example, the cambridge packets) how many questions do you do in a row before checking the answers and reviewing the explanations?

LR: every 25 questions
LG: after 4 games
RC: after 4 passages

So after about a sections worth I check and review.

However many games it was on each row of the answer key.

Hey guys I was looking the LSAC requirements for testing admissions and I'm a little confused on how many forms of ID I need?

Is it a total of two? One for the admissions ticket, and one for verification?

Answered my own question! Nevermind...unless someone wishes to elabortate on this topic

I'm envious of high LSAT scorers. I've got a 3.91 GPA with 2 majors and honors program courses, but my June LSAT was below my goal score and I don't know what happened, but I can definitely do better (I think).

3.6 is still good though! You're not automatically out of the running for top schools, especially if you kill the lsat.

When I took the LSAT for the first time in June I just brought my driver's license and affixed the passport style photo to the ticket. That was it!

PT 35 game 1 and game 2 kinda took me for a loop. JY suggests doing a chart for both. I struggled with them, but I don't know what specific game category to put these two in so I can get more practice with games similar. Anybody have any suggestions for the best category to put these two games in?

None. In general, I think LSAT guides are dumb. With the exception of LG diagramming, there is no silver bullet / "one simple trick!" to make the LSAT easier. You should do questions, think about what went wrong, and then devise a personal improvement plan.

Firm believer in this. +1

The only thing I'd say for RC is to make sure you can summarize the main point the author is, or authors are, making. The LSAT almost always makes that easy, so if you can't, you need to do a lot of untimed practice. That, along with the ability to figure out what words mean in context, is the basis for a big chunk of the questions alone.
