Froyo sounds amazing right now. I did a section of LG and went -2 then -0 on blind review. So, I placed out and I'm at my best friend's house playing video games now lol

I felt much more confident during LR2 than LR1, I'm starting to wonder if I should do a practice LR section prior to PT'ing to get in a groove. Can anybody comment on this?

I'd drill a few questions, usually do a logic game or two prior to PTing. oddly enough I wouldn't warm up with RC, which is my weakest section. BTW your avi is hilarious considering the news breaking re: hulk hogan today

Looks like I'll be doing some questions prior to PT'ing then.
Yea such an odd coincidence re: my avi and the news about Hulk Hogan today....brother....

and to those who haven't visited chipotle....WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Put down the lsat materials for 30 minutes and treat yourself to a burrito bowl with guac on the side (yes it's extra but worth every damn cent! )

Honestly Chipotle food looks pretty gross, and with how expensive it is in terms of both money and calories, it's not hard for me to stay away.

July flew by. I thought I would have made significant strides before August.

Where will you be when depression hits?

Actually, when making that poll, I was struck by how low most of the medians really are. Here in LSAT obsession land, everybody's talking about getting deep 99th percentile scores, but just a 170 will get you into most T14 schools, and even a high 160s score would probably score a couple T14s. 173, which some of us would consider a mediocre PT score, will all but guarantee you admission at almost every school, as long as you have a matching GPA. So let's remember that next time we have to talk someone down from the ledge because they had a "massive score drop" and got 170ish on a PT.

August is scheduled to be my big gains month. So if I PT in early September and I haven't jumped, I'll be there with you.

I think TLS is pretty splitter-heavy, though. A 170 definitely wouldn't get me into most T14 schools. But a 174 probably would. So there's a reason for the madness.

That could be. I also have a legitimate reason for wanting 177+: I'm poor and have undergrad debt, so I need a huge scholarship at a great school if law school is to make sense. Since my softs are weak, I'm going to win them over with extraordinary numbers.

My hope is just to be competitive for money at a lower T14 with my 3.6x and a 170+.

I don't envy your needing that 177. Sheesh.

Yeah, I did notice that median seem to be lower (maybe it's this cycle?) which is exciting news. I guess it also doesn't hurt to just call my goal a 180 and go from there bearing this in mind.

Well idk if I'll need that (I have a very high GPA, so no splitter compensation necessary), but I want the strongest numbers I can get, and I think I'm capable of 177+ if I put the time in.

Forgive me for hopping in, but I'm actually curious how you worked in the Cambridge Drill Packets with the PowerScore Bibles/LSAT Trainer. I'm following a schedule from lawschooli (16 weeks). So obviously they didn't work in the concept of Cambridge Drill Packets, so I'm curious how you use the drill packets. I'm assuming you modified your study schedules somewhat. Also how does it impact the days on my schedule when it says to take a full PT?

I thought I'd just ask these questions at the risk of sounding really stupid, because I'm not looking to study inefficiently obviously.

Good luck everyone!
