I don't even want to grade this thing. The newer PTs are so much different. This test was unlike any other PT I've taken beofre and that's really unsettling.
Right?! And the worst part is, we only have a few samples to practice on. To me, it seems like the entire test just feels different 72 on.
I got a 165 on 73 but that was before I'd hit 170 even once so I didn't think much of the test itself, especially when I got a 171 on 74 like a week later. But 72 just destroyed me. The RC seemed to have way more inference questions and hypotheticals, several of the LR questions were structured in ways I've never seen and then that last LG that I don't even know how to classify let alone diagram. Feels like the success I've had lately was pointless.
+1

Had a similar experience on PT 75. The LR was WAY more diffucult. RC was okay, and LG wasn't too bad. But I'm upset because LR used to be my strength (-2/-3 in PTs before 70 and suffered a severe drop on PT 75). I'm alarmed by this, especially with less than two weeks left.

What are you doing to overcome this in our last two weeks? It's so frustrating.

The key is to take it 12 hours before you need to be alert, and about an hour before you want to go to bed. I find that I wake up after about 8 hours of sleep, but don't feel awake until about 12 hours after I take it.
Honestly I would recommend taking it from now until test day (it's only really effective for a couple weeks) and don't take it the night before (maybe even two nights before). It's more useful for resetting your clock than it is actually getting you to sleep.

Be wary of dose size too. They often come in like 5mg but that's too much. Something around 2mg is better.
This is super helpful, thanks. I'm going to grab some on my way home from work and start taking it. Hopefully it will help!

Yeah, it can be purchased electronically on cambridge. You can also buy them on amazon and have them delivered quickly. Yay for Prime!

ETA: You guys are making me so excited for PT 72 on Thursday

I thought lr and rc were much different and difficult in 72 than any other pt before it. Do you think 73, 74, 75 rc and lr are easier than 72?

I meant different from older PTs, like pre-PT 70. Sorry, didn't really specify.

RC and LR there is honestly nothing different from 72 and other PT's

I found the games tough, but besides a curve ball game 4 there wasn't anything drastically different in PT 72. I somewhat think this PT is getting hyped too much. BUT i did get killed on games, but I am historically pretty bad at games (albeit not as bad as I did on this pt..)

Took the June Test. I just went through PT 67 and thought the games were about the same difficulty wise as the June Test except game 2 was a basic sequence instead of a 7 variables to six days. And the last game being confusing with the wording but actually simple. Good practice

I don't really get this whole 'warm-up' thing. Do you guys have success with it?
Definitely. It's hard to jump into LSAT mode, so you won't do your first section or so at peak performance. Better that first section be a random warmup than part of the actual test.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
