ETA- what kind of wine?

The first bottle was a chianti. The second and third were merlot.

Every time I hear someone say chianti, I think of Hannibal Lecter. Schmell, you're not gonna suddenly go all Silence of the Lambs on us now, are you?

Nlee, what was your favorite wine again? I remember you mentioned it once but I forgot. I've been meaning to go buy better wine, I just drink my roommates' stash of TJ's two buck chuck

You bring the fava beans.

So creepy

Almost scared to ask but who's the liver coming from?

Ever since Feb 7th, I've been hanging/eating with friends and binge watching shows. One more week left to decide what to do with the upcoming months.

The extent of my wine knowledge is that I like red and don't care for white. Beer, bourbon, scotch, and occasionally gin are my drinks.

That's white wine? I'm not a wine connoisseur at all :| do y'all have any good recommendations for reds?

Yesterday was one of my roomie's bdays & we got drunk off of pink lemonade vodka, lol. Good times.

ETA- Abyss, I'm the same way, except I'm a tequila/vodka girl

Cabernet sauvignion is a red.

I like tequila on occasion. Ever had mescal? It's pricey, but oh so good.

Ah, learned something new today. I will check that wine out then.

Yep, I've had mescal before, it's awesome

What have you seen?

Good Wife, The Affair, Madame Secretary, Sleepy Hollow, New Girl. Haven't done GoT or HoC any of those popular shows. Which is best?

The last few months I have been getting really into scotch. Started with a bottle of dalwhinnie 15 I was gifted. What's your favorite?

Laphroaig 10 Cask Strength. It is a huge peaty slap in the face. You either love it or hate it.

GoT, it's an amazing show. I binge-watched HoC for a while but then got tired of it

I liked highland park, but i didnt know if i would like any more peat than that. Then i tried lagavulin 16 at a bar on Thursday and loved it. That was my first Islay. Struggling not to buy a bottle. Laphroaig and ardbeg are next on my list, but if I go cask strength i will probably go with uigedail. Love me some sherry influence.

Islays are my favorite. I almost exclusively drink either Lagavulin 16 or Laphroaig 10 when I'm drinking scotch, but the cask strength is my favorite.
