If you have 2+ years of technical work experience (I know this is true for engineering I'm not 100% sure about bio) then it can be significantly easier to find a job after graduating law school and school ranking doesn't matter as much. Go anywhere in the top 100 schools and getting a job will be much easier than everyone else you graduate with that doesn't have a technical degree. WE in the field is invaluable for IP work. If you currently work at a tech/science/engineering company and they are willing to pay for law school and move you to the law department after then go to any school that'll give you a JD and enjoy the perks of working in-house

Not sure how relevant this is outside of the 2 large tech/science companies where I have worked, but this is what I was advised of by multiple IP lawyers who worked both in big law, moderate law firms, and in house and I am sorry if it is wrong or not representative. Some of them are also in charge of hiring new lawyers so I don't think it's too outdated.

For me personally (and I have modest career goals)....UCD would probably be the cutoff school if I wanted to work in norcal.

Rank doesn't matter. It's costs and employment outcomes. Rankings are super arbitrary and mislead people into making terrible decisions.

It's pretty advanced but I like it b/c it made me realize that corn & blood oranges go well together. The next time I feel like making a sweet cornbread or something else using corn, I can pair it with blood oranges or another citrus & it'll be awesome

I guess for large differences, it's slightly meaningful. A school ranked 20 is better than a school ranked 100, but is a school ranked 50 any better than a school ranked 70? probably not.

I have an eggplant doomed for this recipe.

That looks amazing. I tried to make an eggplant soup the other day that was disastrous, but I feel like giving a different eggplant recipe a try. Eggplant is one of those veggies I'm not a fan of, so I'm always trying different ways to make it palatable other than baba ghanoush.
