Ugh I want that outdoor minny/Dallas game. Especially if it's at like Cowboys stadium or the ballpark. That'd be sick. Or even if it was in minny.ilikebaseball wrote:As a Dallas fan I always found Anaheim and Colorado to be our biggest rivals with Detroit after that.

For sure. Good effort into appearance goes a long way on so many fronts.RaiderRed wrote:Even heavy people can look good if they are honestly putting effort into their appearance. Granted some may argue there's a cutoff but I feel like a big guy or girl could still look good if they try.schmelling wrote:agreed. I also feel like people who make an effort tend to look good, regardless of their physical shape.justabitunusual wrote: I do think the people who are doing both eating right and making an effort to tone are admirable though (i.e. not just worried ab the scale and being skinny as a toothpick)

I actually took a latin ballroom/salsa class in UG to fulfill my art and diversity requirements, and it was surprisingly tons of fun and kind of hilarious, given the 10 confused frat bros who took it too. I wonder if it's a thing people do in the real world around here, or just like, pensioners and people learning to dance for their weddings. I should find out.justabitunusual wrote:me too...let's do ballroom dancing...it'll be a fun way to loseleslieknope wrote:Y'all are so motivated and I just had cheesecake for breakfast
I should start dieting again though. I've been maintaining for a couple of months but I really want to lose the last 10 before law school.

Hopefully their management changes their mind soon. I'm hoping to go to the Boston stadium series next year.ilikebaseball wrote:NHL wanted it but MINNY WASNT HAVIN IT FOR SOME REASONRaiderRed wrote:Ugh I want that outdoor minny/Dallas game. Will you buy season tickets in your 1L, and for which sports?

Depends on the school.storpappa wrote:Will you buy season tickets in your 1L, and for which sports?
ETA: Folks, I think stor is referring to the sports of the law school you go to, not professional sports. I could be wrong, though.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I will be buying season tickets
That is step 2 of my plan
1. Get into law school
2. Buy season tickets
3. Befriend players
4. Become "sports attorney"

I agree somewhat. I think any sport besides football would be a waste because the amount of games just wouldn't jive with the schedule of a law school student. Football would be tough because any school worth buying season tickets for doesn't give priority to law students for tickets, and thus may not have enough available.schmelling wrote:either way it is laughable for me.The Abyss wrote:Depends on the school.storpappa wrote:Will you buy season tickets in your 1L, and for which sports?

Yeah it wouldn't really fit well into studying or networking. I'll probably just buy NHL gamecenter live and watch the stars from home when I have time for that. It's a lot easier to watch at home and still work or study than at the games. The Abyss wrote:I agree somewhat. If UH, Houston Texans
If UF, football, everything else is free

Non-gunners who are filthy rich from parental endowment and already have a legal job established in their dad's mega firm with the only stip being completion of a JD and a bar passage.schmelling wrote: I like football and sometimes basketball. But who will have to time or money in 1l year?

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I wouldn't buy UT anything except tickets against my alma. I'd get BU/BC hockey tickets but I think you can just add the sports package onto your tuition and it's not too expensive.storpappa wrote:Yes - I meant tickets for the college / university you are attending ... their teams
