Go to the best school you can with the highest ranking and the most prestige
Student loans can be paid back
If you die they can't bother you
Besides you can always do law for criminals and work on a cash basis

Assume you don't keep the scholarship. I don't know the school but there are more than a couple of t2 and 3s that curve to 3.0 or less. You have to know you would be okay with the school if you lost the scholly after a year.

I got a hefty schollys to some schools but I doubt it'd be advisable to go to some of them.
ETA: definitely an overstatement some are smart to attend but idk what I'm gonna do yet.

I'm not sure what you are getting at exactly. Here's my understanding of how it works. I could be off the mark, but this is what I've gathered.
Say you go to
Saint Louis University School of Law. They have a curve of 2.8. From what I understand that means that any class that is curved the professors are told that the mean should be at 2.8. So at SLUSL you could be falling in the median of the class and getting less than a 3.0. You would still be in the top 50%, but you would be under that 3.0 average that you need to maintain the scholarship.
Meanwhile, at Cornell the curve is 3.35. So even if you are not doing as well as 66% of the class you may still be getting a 3.0+ average because there are just more Bs and As being given.
So your class ranking in Scenario 1 might be better, but in this case the scholarship is based off of GPA so you would keep the scholarship in scenario 2 and not scenario 1.
ETA: If you understand it differently let me know where you think I am wrong so that I can look into that more.

Sitting in a GSU parking deck right now. Anyways, there's worse places you could go, and they are building a brand new building. That said, it's going to be expensive to live anywhere that isn't scary near the campus. Do you want to stay in Atlanta?

That's why I didn't say don't go. If your other options are not attractive to you compared to Georgia State even if you lost the scholarship then it may make a lot of sense to go there.
BTW, Georgia State seems to have around a 3.0 curve so if you stay in the top 50% then you would probably keep your scholarship.

I actually attended GSU for two years before transferring out. I'm fully aware of the living costs off campus, my parents will be paying for it. I'm kinda sick of Atlanta, metro Atlanta is just kinda bleh to me. I wasn't even considering GSU before I received this mail. Everything hinges on Feb score though, I could get into UGA and/or Emory with a high enough score

I hear you on Metro Atlanta being bleh. Decatur and some of the East Atlanta neighborhoods are the only interesting areas imo and the suburbs are hell. I don't really care for the culture of the area either, but I've made strong connections here and it would probably be wise to use them. It's UGA or Emory for me too if I stay here.

Atlanta is like most US Cities. If you aren't careful you could be in a good neighborhood but spend an hour+ each way commuting. Renting has its advantages sometimes especially with so many variables like 3 years of school and 1-5 years of working your way up the ranks

I'm in this situation now. 2-3 hours of my day, Monday-Friday is sitting in a damn car in traffic. Definitely not ideal.
Atlanta has very few redeeming qualities. There's some whale sharks, the world of Coke, chicken & waffles, and not much else. The music scene is actually quite good, but the rest of the arts are lacking.

Our dinner tonight was beef, left over from deconstructed stuffed peppers, seasoned in a pan, then tossed into a crock pot with potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, and some seasonings for 6-8 hours... effectively, soup, or beef stew without a thickener like flour
