I've always felt like my spirit animal is a friendly house cat or some type of tiny little bird.

Sometimes we aren't homeless when we do that, just in a hurry

Of course you will have a bad impression of New York if you only focus on the pimps and the chuds

Sorry to say this happens in every city. When I lived in Paris, I opened my building's door once to find a homeless man mid-pee on our stoop. We apologized, closed the door, and let him finish his business before trying to leave again.

It's like when you tell the dude at the ticket counter who tells you to enjoy your movie "you too." Also, in a sense, the stoop was more his house than ours.

but don't homeless people in Paris get macaroons handed to them and you can buy a liter of wine for 1 euro? Had a friend that said this was his experience and that sounds like a decent life if I fail outta LS

This is hilarious. It really sounds like something Leslie Knope would say in Parks and Rec. *snaps*

I can confirm the wine thing. I'm not saying it's good wine, but even box wine tastes better there. It's like their equivalent of a keg.

That's my solution if I end up in the Vale. Moving to Paris and saving up macaroons until I can afford a farm in rural France.
