I've an abusive pair of cats. Puppy gifs don't hit quite as hard.

It'll be kinda hard to pinpoint them down lol but i guess the Good Wife, Suits, Mindy Project, The Big Bang Theory, How to Get Away With Murder, ummm Parks and recs, Marry Me, Flash, Sleepy Hollow, Brooklyn Nine Nine, New Girl, Scandal, Hart of Dixie, VD, Vikings, Once Upon a Time, About a Boy, Reign, Bones, Drunk History. I could keep on going but I can't remember more right now lol

I <3 New Girl! My tar is Cece  (though I do have to admit that Schmidt is my fave character, haha). Drunk History is a good show too, and so is Vikings

I know I love Schmidt but CeCe Is so pretty!

Close TLS and social media. Put your phone away.
AND WORK BITCH!

Nah but I am the biggest procrastinator so I don't have any tips other than just pushing through.

Yeah I'm surprised I've made it this far in life since I spend an overwhelming majority of my time procrastinating. I'll probably have to go dark and take a TLS hiatus if I want to get anything productive done in my life.

To answer whoever's question about peanut butter - I think it's awesome and healthy and I eat it every day. But, I also don't count calories or macros or whatever nonsense.

And cookie butter is the best. Has anyone ever tried making their own? I found a recipe that uses cashews as the base and adds things like ginger and nutmeg and molasses to give it that cookie taste but I haven't tried it out yet.

I suppose you can take a break if it means a great GPA and eventually HYSCCN(P) with me.

I'll probably just stop checking the waiters thread and I'll go on the June study thread every once in a while if it gets less lame. It won't be forever, just a mini purge so I start doing real life things again. I'll respond to all PMs though if I need to be summoned or if someone's bored and wants to chat.

True story: I thought of you tonight when I was buying veggies to make with dinner. I don't actually like brussels sprouts, but I almost gave them another try anyway.

Anyone ever have Nepalese / Tibetan food? I haven't but a new place opened that took over the space of an old favorite restaurant of mine. The food looks like it's a mix of Indian food and mountainous Chinese food with lots of hearty stews and dumplings called momos. I'd like to try it sometime soon.

Half Nepali here :) it's delicious food, you should totally try it!

Okay will do then!

If they serve liquor, see if they have raksi or chhaang. They're liquors made from millet, very unique taste

If they have butter tea I'll definitely try it.

I may try raksi or chhaang just cause I don't think it's available many places. I don't usually drink alcohol much and when I do it's usually at home since it's so expensive in restaurants - so usually if I do drink out it's to try something rare to find. Like on our honeymoon to Turkey we tried raki which was really interesting - it's a very strongly anise flavored alcohol.

raki is good! in israel they have something similar (read: the same) called arak. they drink it with a sort of artificially flavored grapefruit drink. weird yet excellent combination.

Arak is literally the worst thing to ever happen to booze. It tastes like drinking licorice-flavored turpentine. Seriously, so gross.
