Damn I probably should have hired Spivey. My applications were mostly bare-bone, although in hindsight I do have a narrative that perhaps could have been better communicated.

Spivey how often do you see people out-perform their #'s with a stellar applications, be it video or PS or recs or diversity essay or communications? You should write a blog post about that if that's the case.

You should write a blog post for situations when extra effort should be spent on an application, and when you're wasting your time.

If I out score myself and delay, Im hiring spivey cause what even is my life.

Prolly won't happen but hey, a kid can hope. At least until LSAC comes out and destroys all hope.

pretty sure I posted that in the Dec waiter thread, if not Feb study thread. What's the TLS policy on lynching reposters.

Not sure if I should start posting in your thread, but if I'm still waiting on reach schools, would it be helpful (or a waste of time) to submit supplemental information? And what kind of supplemental information is helpful? That would probably depend on the school and what they ask for in their applications right. A Why X? Diversity? If I'm encroaching upon the realm of premium information it's cool I understand if you can't answer. I'll just continue crying in this corner here, and maybe hand you a stack of cash next cycle.

I really regret not scraping together the money for it too. I have reverse splitter numbers and interestingish softs, so I think mine's one of the cases where it could have helped. Maybe once the inevitable WLs start coming in!

Spivey to what extent does an interview make a difference? Is being invited to interview even if you don't have the numbers on paper a sign that they're willing to overlook them?

(or lol, maybe I should have asked in his thread too. PNJ we're going to make Spivey regret coming into our thread  )

this video is a winner all around.

That video just accomplished me never attempting one...I agree w rigo that it could have been better substance wise, but in a one-min video I think it did what it set out to and was a really good example of why I will just stick to writing...lol

After the fact question. Did they get in and what was the stats?

Pop-quiz: You level 7 fighter with a THAC0 of 13 comes up against a troll with an AC of 3. You swing your +2 flaming sword at him and roll your D20. What do you need to roll in order to cut into his tough, leathery hide?

And this is the part of the thread where I reveal I'm a huge nerd.
