funny, I received the opposite advice. Late nights in the office its nice to have a place to go take a shower while everyone else is trying to scrub down in the sink. You can also slip out "for coffee" and head home real quick. when you only get two and a half hours sleep one night, it is better than the 2 hours you would have gotten living elsewhere, etc.
also, I hate commuting. a lot.

I don't want biglaw and am v broke living in the big city so idk how this matters but anyways. how to ties figure into admissions? my girlfriends family is in Chicago and I think that's where we will end up but do I have ties there? does that really matter? noob
