Goat just doesn't have enough flavor. If you ever get a chance to try ostrich, its pretty good. Duck/Dove/Quail are amazing birds though. Dove poppers are God's gift to mankind.

ETA: do they have high dove populations in MA by any chance? If not, I may be flying back to Texas every September.

Tried this. Turns out farms cost more money than I can get an approved loan for. Not sure why. I have good credit.

New plan:

1. Go to law school
2. Go to biglaw for 3-5 years and save everything
3. Buy Farm
4. ...
5. Profit.

I don't know about Elk, but seriously, Bison are the best. My new fake farm is now going to be a bison farm.

Elk is delicious. I always buy elk burgers and steaks from a farmer in colorado when I visit.

I would say we should try not to, but I can't for the life of me think of a reason for that. I've gotten more good ideas for cooking in the last two days than I have in a long time.

Proud of you. You should start a blog of your trials and end it with a Katy Perry themed montage of Rigo gettin weird on the Big Island.

I really love my parents. I'm close to them. But despite that fact, there's just some shit I don't ever want to know about my mom and dad. Like, this one time I got in a fight with my dad, and it got pretty heated. After, I vented to my mom.

"Mom," I said, "Dad can be such a prick sometimes."
"Boo," she replied, "Your dad loves you. He's a good man. He's a gentle man. And he's a gentle lover."

I cringed at that last line. It made me really uncomfortable. I was shocked that my mom would tell me that my dad is a gentle lover, because that has NOT been my experience.

At delis? No. Because that meat is served in thin slices. Do I prefer my steaks cooked well so that I don't have to look at bloody red stuff? Yes.

I don't eat meat at home. I'll order it out maybe once a week or so, but I don't buy meat to cook at home. I just don't like handling raw meat.

NOPE. Opened a quail as a child once to find the heart still in there like perfectly sitting in its chest cavity. I couldn't stop crying.
