tm is the real test, leg day :?

haha. I still lift...
It's just my diet that got really bad.

I'm in the same boat...My diet turned to crap like 2 weeks before the test...now, I'm trying to get back into wanting to cook and eat healthy again, so far all I have accomplished is making my green smoothie in the morning and regular foods throughout the day, but now my sugar craving is back bc I allowed myself to eat junk...blah

fair, you got a plan in mind?

Chest days the best day

i've never been able to stick to a regimen that requires me to focus on one muscle group per day. It ends up being more days per week than I would like lifting and I get bored while I'm there.

just gotta get in a nice flow

its funny that you're probably in good shape, cause i picture you as your tar.

I'm like somewhere in the middle. Not fat (anymore) but still not ripped. But it's amazing what only year or so of lifting can do to you.

I hated leg day until I moved deadlifts to a different day. Now it's okay again. I just couldn't handle squats/deads together.

I agree... when I was lifting, I preferred to change it up, although I guess you could say I might focus on one more than the rest? Idk, now at 9Round where I go, they map out the workouts and there are some days that can be classified as leg days, chest days, etc. but it's all varied, so it doesn't seem like you're working one main group until like half way through

btw, I used to do a typical bro split (body part a day) and I wasn't seeing results. lol. I'm on a powerlifting program where I squat/bench/deadlift twice a week.

What do you put in your morning green smoothie? Mine's kinda boring and I'm always in search of better smoothie recipes

Well, mine is pretty much the same all the time too, but it started with the Glowing Green Smoothie by Kimberly Snyder, and I've modified it some since then...But I make it in bulk in my blendtec, so I get like 2-3 16oz smoothies out of it.

1.5-2c alkaline water
1 5oz package baby spinach /kale / other greens
1 head of Romaine
2-4 sticks of celery
1 apple
1 frozen banana
juice from 1/2 lemon
and I alternate between 1 pear or 1/2 bag of frozen pineapple (which I prefer)
pour some chia or flax seeds in

really love it!

It's normally really bright green...the lighting in this pic or I may have added some spirulina to this one which makes it look a little darker

Image

eta: I'm not a big celery fan, but I honestly ere on the side of 3-4 sticks (depending on how big the stalks are) bc it makes it taste so refreshing, one time I forgot to add it and it was really disappointing...but I can't eat celery w pb or any other way raw...I do like it in stews, etc...but I'm just saying that in case anyone thinks celery would turn them off to this smoothie

I alternate split body workouts and full body just cause I did full body for football but sometimes I wanna try and target muscles.

Mine's pretty similar. I do water, kale/spinach & dandelion greens, 1 stalk celery, green apple, banana, lemon, and ginger. You gotta add ginger to yours, it is the most refreshing thing everrrr

I love to add mango to mine. I can't have my green smoothie without bananas and mangos now!

yeah I go with frozen strawberries, blueberries, banana, some almond milk... keep it simple, gotta find some more stuff to throw in
