I like it and it appears we got him at a good value, but I don't know why the Wings made this trade. If they were going to make a move, everyone thought it would be for a defenseman with a right hand shot.

I'll be cheering for yall to get to the third round so we get our pick back cause that'd be ideal. Cole is good and I was hoping we'd sign him to a one year extension, but our season is tanking thanks to the Seguin injury and a rookie defense.

That condition is the one part of the trade I don't like. You guys got good prospects, they're just log jammed in the Wings organization and actually playing in Sweden as a result. It's a nice luxury to have.

I'm not too keen on the Rangers getting Yandle. He's a bit of a liability in his own end, but the Rangers didn't get him for his defense. The guy is money in the offense zone and on the PP. Rangers just got better, and are a definite Cup contender. Hell, I could see a Detroit/NYR Eastern Conference final.

I figure they're prolly guys nill drafted in Detroit so he knows what we're getting. I generally cheer for Boston in the east but I doubt they get past the first round. The Rangers are gonna be tough for anyone to beat with lundquist. But I think the east is winnable for Detroit barring a showdown with Montreal who looks good.

Good ending. I expected a little more from the season overall, but I'm happy.

I ended up downloading the game Frank plays on his iPad. Fun little puzzle game.
