I've never had peruvian food before. How was it? What kind of stuff did you eat? These are very important questions, haha :P
Similar to mexican food...but not quite exactly.

I had lomo saltado. Something similar to this.

That looks delicious. Is the flavor more spicy or more milder than Mexican food?

I LOVE Thai and Ethiopian food!
My most fave uncommon cuisine would have to be Nepalese :) Also a huge fan of Cypriot & Egyptian cuisines

I've never had Persian food but I think it's something that I would like. I need to try it sometime soon

persian food is insanely good. They make the best rice ever.

unrelated: I have been fiending fried pickles for days now.
Lol, fried pickles? That's so random! But oh so good, I grew up eating tons of them

I think you've been talking to me for too long, you're starting to turn into me

Without the side sauce it's a bit milder. But it was delicious. 8)
Had to cut my calories short the whole day so I can try to fit everything from dinner. I ultimately failed since I also got froyo afterwards...

What are calories?

Haha, that's good that you enjoyed your dinner though. And froyo is awesome, so it's ok. I won't tell anyone that you overate today

You know what, nlee, I still need to try kbbq! I just remembered that I was supposed to go that one day to a place in Cambridge but then I didn't. Now I feel sad b/c I really wanted to try it. Maybe I'll go check it out this weekend

I get asked more often if I passed the bar or the gmat. For some reason, people don't know what the LSAT is. I envy them.
You would think my SIL would be at least somewhat aware. Her brother got a 165, a halfway decent deal at a good regional school, and is a public defender now.

Me!! Also, Peruvian food is incredible!! One of my best friends growing up was Peruvian and her family inspired me to want to learn Spanish...Peru was the first country I visited abroad...although i wouldn't say the food is very much like Mexican... Also, in Peru they cooked A LOT of dishes with beets, so lots of the food was pink...lol...i didn't go for it at the time. Loved my time there! Would live there. They had the best fresh frothy pineapple juice ever!

eta: the chicken and all the meat was super fresh and delicious schemell...a lot of ppl get sick when they go to other countries, but i got sick when i got back and started eating processed foods again

I'm in that stage of my app cycle, so I was wondering if someone could help me out here...

I'm trying to negotiate $$$ from some schools that I CLEARLY don't want to attend. I'm just trying to get more out of them to use it against my top choices. Could I sorta give them a polite ultimatum?

Say something like "I really like your school for X and Y reasons. However, I was wondering if you could make it a bit more reasonable, because in the current state I cannot attend."

Then if they say "We don't negotiate"

Basically say "I'm sorry then, but I have to withdraw my application. Thanks for everything."

Like, that doesn't come across as rude to me, but I was wondering if, strategically, if that's acceptable.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
