I would probably add Ghost in the Shell to that, but I haven't seen it all yet. I personally like a lot more than that, but that's those are the ones that have great stories and less of the tropes that tend to turn some people off of Anime generally.

I started watching Hercules again a few months ago. It has not aged well, but it is really fun still. I imagine Xena's about the same now.

Monster used to be on netflix, but now its really hard to find unfortunately. The only reason Death Note isn't on my list is because 2/3rds of the show were amazing, but the last 1/3rd really let me down.

I remember wishbone too, but you might have been too young for Ghost Writer?...it was ab some tween/teen kids that got messages from a "ghost" writer through a typewriter I think? idk but i liked it
