Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
Last year I watched the entire Season 2 of house of cards the night it came out. My then gf had just flown in (hadn't seen each other in weeks) and when she woke up at 9AM I was finishing up. Hmm... Maybe there is a causation to be made there. But I'm going to deny responsibility by reminding myself that correlation does not equal causation.

Never seen john wick. Saw the other two last week. The Abyss wrote:Gone Girl? John Wick? Nightcrawler?RaiderRed wrote:I've seen all those except the town this week...that's creepy. Got both father of the brides and I may have to check out the town. Not sure I've ever seen it. Boyhood sucked. Apocalypse now is awesome. The terminal is pretty good. Shawshank is one of the GOAT
The Town is a really well done movie.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I saw Bill and Ted for the first time a few weeks ago and I really liked it. I thought it wouldn't be funny and would be one of those movies that is only a pop culture reference as a joke. Turns out it's in pop culture because it is enjoyable.
I think it might be a good "cheer up" movie since there is no dramatic arc. Most comedies have some awkward stressful situations that build up until release. Bill and Ted has none of that. I can't think of any other comedies like that.

idk, correlation and causation are often in the same sentence so they're probably related in some waycrazyhazy wrote:Last year I watched the entire Season 2 of house of cards the night it came out. Have you seen Shakespeare Behind Bars? Pretty cool documentary about a group of prisoners performing The Tempest.RaiderRed wrote:Never seen john wick. No I'll check it out. I'm sort of limited to Hastings rental area on choices. Though it is a large selection. The Abyss wrote:Have you seen Shakespeare Behind Bars? Just saw whiplash, which I loved, but it may just make you more anxious.RaiderRed wrote:RaiderRed wrote:What movie should I rent? Old or new?
Personally, I'd rent an old comedy (like Airplane or Austin Powers) if I wasn't gunna be busy with HoC

I don't know about Windy City Heat, they really take advantage of a guy who doesn't seem like he's all there.
