You can't even get gumballs for that price these days!Shakawkaw wrote:Fried pork dumplings. Because I'm an excellent Jew.peppermint wrote:Love dumplings! What kind?Shakawkaw wrote:I just ate some delicious dumplings. I'm wifey material, Schmell.schmelling wrote:Pepp what was for dinner tonight
I found this really nice place by my job - 10 dumplings for like $2.50. So yummy.

You're right. I know it. You know it. I'll apply to UT since that could legit be the best possible outcome. But I just don't see me getting in because of my GPA/LSAT is below both medians. LSAT almost down to the 25th. Maybe I really need help I guess. I had cut my choice to BU/BC and using minny for scholarship leverage.Dirigo wrote:Raider, you're a cool dude but the "wahhhh I wanna move somewhere else" reasoning for picking random regionals lacks foresight.

Why unnerving?schmelling wrote:What!? That's awesome. And a little unnerving. But mostly awesome.
Back in college (Western Mass) it was like 8 bucks for 5 dumplings and they weren't even that good. As much as I hate NYC, I really love it.
Can you guys all PW this evening? Esp. the lovely couple in row 10B (CE and Evergreen, datz u).
ETA: Also Schmell because I forget what you look like.

Look at it this way, if you don't get in oh well.RaiderRed wrote:You're right. I know it. You know it. I'll apply to UT since that could legit be the best possible outcome. If you get in with no money then its great leverage for the other schools.
If you get in with money... well I mean that's a great school with pretty good outcomes.

Schmell, I thought there was a possibility that you were judging my eating habits and shaming me.

I don't think anyone here disagrees. I don't even think Raider disagrees when he thought about it.Dirigo wrote:I mean, I'm not going to sit here and tell Raider he needs to go to UT, but to not apply is irrational.
ETA: But seriously Raider, if you don't apply Rigo will be upset so that's more than enough reason to apply.

You really are the voice of reason I need to listen to. First you convinced me Fordham was bad idea. I'm applying tonight so wish me luck maybe February will be kind to me.Dirigo wrote:I mean, I'm not going to sit here and tell Raider he needs to go to UT, but to not apply is irrational.
ETA: but if UT hates me, is BU/BC with decent money still an okay outcome? I mean it's no t14 with money but

February is a great month and she will be kind to us all. Seeing as it is my patron month I know her the best. She will bestow many riches upon your feet and knight you all with 180's.RaiderRed wrote:You really are the voice of reason I need to listen to. First you convinced me Fordham was bad idea. Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
Yeah I don't really have good guidance but I'm not happy with any of the TX schools outside UT and I figure GWU rejected me so UT obvi wouldn't take me. That's part of my logic. But not sure what would even be considered a good outcome with my numbers at this point. I thought I had figured out a lot but yall make me feel lost.Dirigo wrote:Good luck. I just think you need some guidance and studying admissions advisement shit is my aspie hobby, so I'm glad to help.RaiderRed wrote:You really are the voice of reason I need to listen to. I'm kind of just worried that BU & BC (& Fordham) are going to keep being stingy as fuck with scholarships (seriously, fvck them), so I want you to have solid options/back-ups financially.

Also, curious why UT is considered so great with only 77% employment which appears to be about the rest of the top 30ish schools? I guess I don't understand that.
