Agreed on Sherlock. I can't get into the episodes.PeanutsNJam wrote:So on to the fitness talk. I've been bulking a while now and is there any reason I look like I'm pregnant?
No, really, it can't all be fat. I still have definition in my arms and upper-upper body. But I look like I'm in the second trimester.
Hannibal is overrated, and so is Sherlock.

I'm really not eating that much, like it can't be more than 2500 a day. I'm lifting 3x week, my PR's for 5rm are:schmelling wrote:you're eating too much and not lifting enough. Its called being skinny-fat. Cut down on the calories, you probably don't need as many as you think, especially if you aren't building on top of a lot of previous muscle.PeanutsNJam wrote:So on to the fitness talk. I agree, I think men who have a runner's/soccer physique are hotter than jumbo muscles...sports players that are actually just fit and cut, but not bulky are better looking in my opinionDirigo wrote:Americans have become too obsessed with lifting. Back in the 1960's, slender men were the ideal. Now you have to do all this body building stuff or else you're not conventionally hot. The idea of a masculine physique has gone too far.
Just a thought.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
Are you eating good calories though? Like, look at where the bulk of your calories are coming from, bc that can contribute in a big way to overall fitness look...and fat in doesn't mean you'll look or be fat as long as you're eating healthy fatsPeanutsNJam wrote:I'm really not eating that much, like it can't be more than 2500 a day. Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
Lifting =/= getting bulky. Lifting is the most efficient way to exercise. Go to any gym across the country and look at the people constantly on the treadmills, and then look at the people over at the power rack. Your eyes won't lie. The ones doing non-stop cardio tend to be skinny-fat, while the ones lifting (and not using machines) are strong and lean.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
