I'm sorry you went slightly down, I know that's not what people want to see. Please don't send an email to busy and now backlogged offices. What would you even say? They don't hold your new score against you they only care about your high score.TetrisBlock wrote:I recommend posting a thread asking for advice on that. Basil Hayden's. I wanted Blanton's but they didn't have it. My friend who owns liquor stores suggested it. I am very much enjoying it and am sipping it neat, and slowly.WhiskeyAndCupcakes wrote:What kind of whiskey?crazyhazy wrote:I bought a $45 bottle of whiskey and am sipping and planning world dominationSmallville wrote:any1 else drinking right now...? or am I all alone as usual?

Hi Spivey, I got 7 point jump from my last retake. Do you think I should write an email to schools that are holding my application due to Feb score? Or there is no need because schools will automatically be updated with my new score?

someone asked earlier, I would say send the email, it won't hurt and although they'll get the update imo it shows you are still interestedzhongxiaozhui wrote:Hi Spivey, I got 7 point jump from my last retake. I'm a (former) music snob and I love me some Taylor Swift. I've stopped turning it down at stop lights. 2 seater convertible stick, and im rocking Blank Space like it's my job.WhiskeyAndCupcakes wrote:For sure. I'm not in the same league as T. I'm sticking around for a bit, but going to say now:
Thank you everyone who kept me sane, let me know I wasn't alone in this, and let someone else hear about the LSAT instead of the wife.
Good luck in your cycle, retake, or whatever future you're looking towards.

Near the end, coming on here was driving me crazy reminding me of the LSAT, but overall it was so helpful to commiserate this every step of the way. Thank you too Prodigal and everyone else.

Thanks that's sweet. ^_^Smallville wrote:Have you ever taken a PT? You got into some good schools it sounds like.TetrisBlock wrote:Ah! Just got mine in while typing the last post! I went down by 3. Third take. First was highest. I predicted as much because I screwed up the last game. I remember the frustration on test day where I felt like the test was easier than normal and this was my chance. It looks like it was true. If only I hadn't screwed up the games.
Oh well, I'm happy with my school choices, just disappointed with my performance.
The LSAT and all the practice and money that goes into this is so stressful. Even being able to get through the test and the waiting for scores without having a breakdown is a feat imo. You should all be proud!
I have only ever taken a timed RC section and I finished a little over half the questions before running out of time. I had an easy time eliminating all but two most of the time but I definitely didn't always guess right. I also did a LG and a LR untimed.
I feel like I could do really well on the LSAT if it wasn't timed. I always did well at math tests when my teachers would give me extra time but I've never been good with timed tests for any subject. I get pretty bad test anxiety especially for really big tests. I only did two or three timed tests in college that I really hit out of the park.
So I doubt I'd ever be able to get a good LSAT score but that's fine because I don't need or want to. If I go back to school it will probably be to get a teaching certificate. But thanks for the thought. It was nice to hear.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
