Is manhattan LR overtaking the LR Bible
I'm just curious to see who prefers the LR bible over Manhattan LR? If you go over to the 160+ thread there seems to be a consensus for the bible, but it seems like more people are starting to prefer Manhattan. I've read both books myself, and if I get the type of score I plan to, it will be because of Manhattan LR...with an assist from the LR bible. I got the bible first, but their concepts seemed a little hard to understand and too specific. It's almost if they wanted to teach you how to ride your bike without the training wheels to start you off. In my opinion Manhattan treats Logical Reasoning as if you've never even heard what the word means. At the same time, there has to be some type of reasoning for why so many of the top scorers prefer the LR bible right??

Manhattan is way better for LR. Who are these top scorers that prefer the LR Bible?

I think the Bible has only been preferred for the games.

Read Powerscore first because I had never heard of Manhattan and then read Manhattan. It's a huge difference. Manhattan is better across the board.

You realize the author of the Trainer is the co-creator of the Manhattan system right?zacboro wrote:I used just LRB and the Trainer and I'm Doin just fine in LR.

I don't think the point is to say it's no good, but I think a distinction has been made clear between which book a lot of folks prefer.
