Questions about Materials and Study Schedule

Happy new year, TLSers!

I'm looking to take the September/October LSAT. I graduate in May and should have around 20 to 21 weeks to prepare for it. I've purchased all 3 of the PowerScore bibles and was wondering what other materials I should acquire and the best study regimen I should employ for this time span (I'm aware that one of the best ways to max out my score is by taking actual tests. With that said, I'm surely going to purchase every single test).

Would you suggest that I purchase the LSAT Trainer?
Is the Trainer's 16 week study schedule something you'd use? (http://www.thelsattrainer.com/assets/si ... s29-71.pdf)
Do you think I can integrate the bibles and the LSAT Trainer?
Is there a better schedule you think I can use for a 20~21 week time span?
Are the Cambridge books/bundles "by type" recommended?
Am I missing any other crucial prep materials?

My Study Material Recommendations:

The LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim ( http://www.thelsattrainer.com/ )
For Logic Games
The Powerscore LSAT Logic Games Bible
7Sage Online LSAT Prep
For Logical Reasoning
Manhattan Logical Reasoning Strategy Guide
For Reading Comprehension
Manhattan Reading Comprehension Strategy Guide
Materials For Drilling
Cambridge LSAT Bundles
Definitely supplement The Trainer with the Powerscore LG Bible and 7Sage, since LG is the Trainer's weakest section (it's awesome for becoming acquainted with LR and RC though).
I definitely recommend investing in a Cambridge Bundle. I got PT's 1-40 broken down by type for drilling and full-length PT's 41-70.

Your schedule should be flexible so you can adjust to address your weaknesses. Everyone's schedule is unique.
Good luck!

zacboro wrote:I used the Trainer and Bibles. I read a chapter of the Trainer every morning and some of the Bibles later in the day. I didn't start drilling until after I finished them all. The most important part of your prep is your drill and how you improve your own strategies -whether they match the prep book's strategies or not. If I were you I'd buy the Cambridge type breakdowns for 1-40 and the 2 most recent PT "10 actual" books to use at the end of drilling.

Thank you both for your inputs, I will purchase the Trainer soon.

A quick question regarding the Cambridge bundle that the both of you used: could someone just buy all the "10 actual official preptests" series of books in lieu of the Cambridge bundle? Or is the whole reason why someone would buy the bundle is because it already organizes the questions for you?
Furthermore, how many full-length preptests did you complete in your preparation before the actual exam? (was 30 enough?)

Ok, so for my schedule should I:

- Go through LG Bible, LR Bible, RC Bible - each paired with the LSAT Trainer - for about 4 weeks.
- Drill with Cambridge (PTs 1-38 by type, PTs 39-70 in their entirety)
- drill "by type" for 4 weeks and still refering back to the bibles and the trainer
- then, for the remaining time until I actually take the exam, complete PTs 39-70

OR

- Go through LG Bible, LR Bible, RC Bible - each paired with the LSAT Trainer - all while drilling each Cambridge "by type"
- Then, for the remaining time until I actually take the exam, complete PTs 39-70
