My magic score I hope to see on jan 2 is between a 166-168 (preferably 167/168). The wait is horrible!
Edit: looked back to my previous posts in this thread to see what I felt like right after taking the test and I gussed a 165-171. Quite a large diffeence. Hoping I can land right in the middle of that spread. Being optimistic!

I'm sure you would have done well! Hard work pays off and you def put in the work man.Dirigo wrote:I really have no idea as to my score now. I guess I'm a little more optimistic than I was immediately after the test or maybe it's apathy, not optimism.
All I know is that I'm going to be real pissed if I find out the curve is a -12 or lower. I'm praying for a -14 but I'll take a -13 at this point.
Edit: random thought I had this morning was how often does LSAC use an experimental as a real section? I understand that the experimental sections we have is lsac way of seeing the "hardness" of te section before putting it as a scored section. But what's the time diffeence between putting a experimental and then making it count? Also is it like a 1 shot deal in the sense that they give the experimental out once and then make it count later on. Or does the expeirmental section be experimental over multiple tests?

It's the writing section that takes LSAC the longest to grade, unfortunately.Peta wrote:Why does it take a month to grade a mother freaking SCANTRON.

Same here. I was basically talking myself out of starting to study for a retake immediately the day of the test, but now I think maybe it won't be so bad? Of course there's an equal or greater chance I'll come back to delete this post out of shame on grey day, but for now.Dirigo wrote:I really have no idea as to my score now. The one thing I'm sure about is that I absolutely crushed the writing section. That thing was a masterpiece of rationalizing the prompt people's terrible life choices.

I feel exactly the same way. Immediately after the test I had no clue how to feel. Logic games were harder than I anticipated, so my guaranteed -0 on that section went down the drain. Because I felt so gross after LG, I wasn't as confident with the rest of the sections. Looking back, I think I did well on the two LR sections and RC is always a hit or miss for me, so we shall see! I feel like my score could range anywhere from a 160 to a 175....I know huge range! Is it Friday yet?Dirigo wrote:I really have no idea as to my score now. I didn't feel great about the LG either, but thought I killed the LR sections. I have never felt that confident about any LR sections in any test (PT or real thing). RC is hit or miss for me too. I think I will be pleased with my score, but we'll see.MEAhrnsbrak wrote:I feel exactly the same way. Immediately after the test I had no clue how to feel. Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS (Score Release Poll is up!!)
I felt pretty confident about the LR as well but I'm scared that there will end up being a bunch of trick questions that I didn't pick up on. I'm definitely the most nervous about how I did on RC. I was really low on time for the last two passages. I skipped between the two because I read the Mexican American one first and found it really hard so I went back to do the comparative passage and then I got flustered because I found that hard as well. I'm not feeling confident about my answers to any of the Qs in those last two passagesThe Abyss wrote:I didn't feel great about the LG either, but thought I killed the LR sections. Has anyone else written out the break down of the sections and how many they think they could have gotten wrong in each and the combinations of scores that it would come out to depending on different curves? It sounds obsessive but it actually helped to ease my mind a bit.
