I read this as Boston College and I was very confused why you would single that school out for the Freshman 15.

I'm actually cracking up right now

Pretty sure the Freshman 15 is pretty widespread. I lost weight initially just from anxiety/excitement from the change, but eventually I needed to go to the gym pretty regularly to counteract the shit I was eating in the dining halls. Ugh, gross. We used to eat like french toast sticks and mozz sticks at 1am. Blech :?

For me the only thing it did was clear up my skin. One of my HS friends went from an A to a D after starting and I think a few of us were hopeful that it would do the same. No such luck.

Obvs, there are side effects there too.

BC didn't personally help my skin but I have heard it works wonders for some people.

Sorry guys. I'm sure this is awk/boringggg. Just tryin to keep everyone informed on very important skin care issues

I had no idea you had to be on 2 BCs for accutane. That is excessive!

Mist - the shitty thing about BC is that it's a hit or miss, depending on the type of hormone and the dose.

I didn't gain weight when I was on it. I think it might have helped my skin a little bit, but I don't think I had that many break outs to begin with. The only nice thing about it was the clockwork...you ladies know what I'm talking about.

Oh and I guess not getting pregnant if you're having sexy times.

I don't know when this turned into a thread about pregnancy prevention but BC pills did not make me gain weight, it didn't really do much except prevent pregnancy. My skin and weight stayed the same. I have an IUD now (this is so embarrassing I will totally regret this in the morning good thing you guys don't know my name) and it's AMAZING. Totes recommend. I went up a cup size but also didn't gain weight.

Is anyone else drinking? C'mon. It's saturday night. Don't make me feel bad for drinking alone.

Omg, yes. The uncertainty/waiting is the worst.

Can't wait till they come out with male BC. It's in the works, guys! Don't think you're getting away with it forever

I have a bottle of wine sitting in my bedroom. Should I open it? Is that too sad?

I dunno, I think the male BC will lead to a lot of STD transmission because guys are dumb and won't wanna use latex gloves on their hands. 8)

Can I come over? My parents judge me when I drink. Even if it's a glass of wine.

I mean I think it's totally excusable because we're going through a very stressful time in our lives but I suppose that is up to your discretion. Don't let me be a bad influence

I apologize to all guys left out of our conversation. Consider yourselves lucky that you do not need to worry about this as much as we do. It's a curse, really.

Glad to hear i'm not alone in this! I get the "Aren't you too young for that?!" or the "Shut up, you don't drink!" and I'm 24.

Aww I'm sorry. Luckily for me my parents are super Italian and drink even more than I do. The wine is constantly flowing.

COME OVER!! No alcohol judging in the Koala household. My mom looooooves her wine. She always is trying to get me to drink with her. Actual quote from her this summer after going to Bahama Breeze with her German friends: "So last night I discovered that I LOVE tequila! It's GREAT!"

Also, mist, I love that video!
