I wear my boots all the time here in Georgia. They're my favorite footwear. Well, them and my Rocky boots. If you are to get some boots, get Double H's. They're the best.

Despite my PW of me in a suit earlier, I usually am wearing more 'western' attire. It's comfortable, and after years of having lived in Wyoming I've come to like its style and functionality.

Texan born & bred here. We've got other cool things too, like chicken fried steak & a clear sky perfect for stargazing! You should apply, UT's a great school, Austin's awesome, & it's just a great state to live in

I'm from Knoxville, TN, and my undergrad was in Nashville. So I've had my fair share of chicken fried steak. But TN lacks TX's broad horizons, and I want broad horizons. No doubt I'm applying. And likely I would choose TX over Vandy, despite the latter's proximity to my hometown. (I'm also reading a bunch of Cormac McCarthy right now, which, perhaps oddly, stirs a desire for the life of a Texan).

I hear ya. Since I'm from the south I suppose I've always had an excuse to wear cowboy boots. I was given a pair of Alden Indy's 6 years ago, though, and I don't take them off save for on the beach. But if I lived in Texas...

I personally don't like 'proper' cowboy boots, the heel is too weird for me.

As far as Texas goes, I can understand the draw. I loved the high plains/high desert of Wyoming. Big Sky country was incredible, and Texas is similar except for less mountains, lower elevation and it's hotter.

Ah, TN, you're familiar with our way of life then Austin's more hipster these days but is still pretty laid back. You would love UT & living in Austin

Nashville is hipster nation these days. Jack White lives in east nashty. Pretty sure he has some kind of cult following 'round there. We even have a hipster country club: http://pinewoodsocial.com/ (this place is actually pretty great)

What I meant by that is: If you're going to PW a celeb, you should know that I prefer darker features.
