Hillz, I hope I am shocked and surprised (in a positive way) like you were when I get mine in.

Did anyone score well and guessed on like 5 questions at the end of each section? I'm so nervous about that.
Not on that test, but I did on my first one on the LG section and it actually ended up turning out okay. I only missed like 1/5 questions.

One girl in my administration didn't even look at an LSAT question before the test. I asked her afterwards if she had an idea what her experimental section was, and she said, "What, there is an experimental section?"

I hope I had good guesses. It was so weird for me because I was not really nervous at all on the test day. I studied and took it two times before and felt accustomed to testing. I was like, well let's get this over with. I think that was both good and bad. I went way slower than if I had been nervous, but I also was more concentrated because I wasn't nervous. My first take was horrible. I literally was sweating while taking the test.

A message of hope to those who didn't feel good walking out of the December administration:

I took it in September and walked out of the test feeling absolutely defeated. I was in shock because I felt so prepared after having spent a solid 3/4 months of 20 hours a week prepping. I was incredibly disappointed and knew that I would have to retake because I thought that I maybe scored 10-15 points below my PT avg.

I got the results in October and found out that I had a 169, only 4-5 points below my average. So if there's anyone out there who is feeling down, take heart.

That being said, I took it again in December and this time around the waiting is much worse. Maybe it's because I'm not in school and don't have as much to do.

I honestly will be satisfied with a 169. Thanks for the hope. About how many did you feel like you guessed on per section during September?

Yeah, I was ok with it too. I was just upset when I thought that I had bombed it.

I only straight up guessed on two LG questions (got one of them right!) but what really killed me was LR. I dropped only 1 on LG, 2 on RC, and 10 on LR (when my avg. was 4/5). I usually was able to get it down to 2 answer choices but I wasn't thinking straight and usually ended up selecting the trap answer.

Not sure that's motivational... I guess it's just hard to have accurate expectations based on how you feel you did.
Did you retake a few weeks ago?

I didnt completely guess on anything. I felt pretty good about RC which is usually my worst section but I definitely made "this looks best" choices.

I missed a detail on the last LG that made the last 3 or so questions impossible to answer, but I realized in time to confirm at least one of them. I wasnt able to answer every rug question with certainty. So where I usually drop 0 to 2 on the LGs I think Im in 3-6 territory. The first LR I think I am down zero, the second I may have dropped a couple. Im really hoping for 170+, but maintaining a 168-172 spread.

Yeah this is what's worrying me. I felt great about September, but in retrospect I had zero reason to feel that way. And I felt great after this take, so I'm pretty sure I bombed.

I felt like the RC this time was easy. The experimental RC was harder IMO and I guess the most on it, so I was glad it was not the real one. I guessed the most on that one and LG.

This was due to not having enough time from being so relaxed.

Part of my problem is I dunno where we are gonna be living for sure. My wife is applying to DO schools and thus far its looking like it might be VA. In a perfect world Id stay in MA nd go to BU/BC if a 168+ can get me in as my father is a partner in a smaller firm in Boston and has a ton of connections.

I really do like the idea of living somewhere warmer though so I hope I can get into W&L and UVA. Both seem like great schools and are about an hour from the DO school she applied to.

Vet stats and the GI bill/voc rehab (my back/knees are toast) should be covering this for the most part. If I play my cards right I am hoping to graduate debt free.
