Infiltrating LSAC sounds preferable to having to study for a retake. Count me in.

Yeah, I'd second this question.tommypickles wrote:Saw this article on the law school admissions sub on reddit today:
http://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/ ... 7-year-low
It basically discusses how enrollment of 1Ls at law schools is at a 40-year low and overall enrollment is at its lowest in 27 years.
Due to the low numbers, would applicants who apply this cycle in early/mid-January with a Dec 2014 LSAT score be at a disadvantage compared to applicants who have applied earlier in the cycle or not really? I'm kinda confused on this, especially with things like rolling admissions
I was thinking that those who apply early January would probably be at an advantage, right? Given that apps are down substantially, there are fewer candidates vying for admission. The trend would become more and more apparent over time, so I would think that those who apply later in the cycle would get some boost.

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS (Score Release Poll is up!!)
'Advantage' is probably the wrong way to put it when it's more a case a of 'no longer being at a disadvantage.' LSN for the last two cycles (esp. compared to those of the boom years) shows that the numbers that get you in in Sept. are the same as the ones that get you in Jan/Feb. In the schools I was looking at, it appears that there's a little better shot at $ if you apply early - but that might also be some confirmation bias because that's what in theory I'd expect to see.
If you look at LSN trends this cycle, it appears that schools (T14s I should say) are waiting it out with their fringe, 25%-50% candidates as they get a better idea of their app pool. Regardless, it's a good time to apply to law school.
