LSAC changing Test Center location

Has anyone ever selected an LSAT administration location only to have it changed to a completely different area, say eight miles away, which you find out only by reading the Test Center reporting information on your admission ticket?

My friend had his changed from Boca Raton to the middle of South Beach 2 days before the test. He had already booked a hotel and everything.
