Pg 136 Powerscore LRB

Post by washingtonorbust » Sun Nov 23, 2014 6:00 am

Trying to decipher this question makes me want to blow my brains out. I just can't seem to cipher through all of the jargon to digagram for any LR problems on science. Any suggestions?

I hated this problem...looks like I tried drawing out conditional statements originally, but reading it again now I don't think you really need to. First part of the stimulus defines endosymbiosis. Second part infers that the chlorarachniophyte meets the criteria for endosymbiosis because of the dual DNA. AC (E) is the clear choice although the word "emerged" might throw you off a bit. Isolating the conclusion also difficult with all the terminology.
