165 on October 2014 LSAT...
I went back, and I saw that I made some stupid mistakes on RC. I should have gotten -2 on that section.
Same with LG.
Have been scoring in the 168-175 range lately... should I be concerned?? Going to take the December 2014 LSAT on Sunday, which will decide whether I re-take now or in October.

Pretty sure science has proven that in most cases being irrationally self-confident is the rational choice.Oskosh wrote:165 on October 2014 LSAT...

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Yeah, confidence blown...
Going from -2 max on LG to -5 on this one, and -0 on some LRs up to -7 here... Ouch. But it let's me see what I'm missing... what I need to make sure I do on test game.
For instance, on LGs, I will make sure to re-diagram rules (e.g, if f before p f-p... but let's say t comes before f... I didn't do this for the rose game on the last one, and I got it wrong).
Same with logical reasoning. I used to be a beast at necessary assumption questions.
Ugh!! Whatever.

About to start 74 right now, as well. Good luck!zacboro wrote:Going to do 7 LR questions, 1 game, and 2 RC passages as a warmup, then starting PT 74 around 1:30 ish. I'm using today as an experiment on whether I should do one or two RC passages for warmup on Monday, we'll see. Either way I probably won't log on until after my PT so good luck to anyone prepping today, make the most of it!

So is it pretty much consensus that doing any sort of prepping the day before the test is a bad idea? What about today? Would it be a good idea to go lightly today and rest all day tomorrow, or just go hard to the paint today and end with light review tomorrow?
Several of my recent PT's have also been sub-par, which is somewhat concerning. However, its comforting to know that its not uncommon, at least. It must be the effect of some combination of mental exhaustion/nervousness.

The best thing you could do is not worry about it. Do some light prep or not, but definitely don't stress about it.Op_Diom wrote:So is it pretty much consensus that doing any sort of prepping the day before the test is a bad idea? What about today? Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Yeah, your right. It seems confidence has a significant impact. I guess the primary problem that still remains for me is RC, which fluctuates at times. LR and LG are fine since they consistently range from -2 to -5 for all three sections combined. However, I can still randomly miss anywhere from -3 to -7 on RC alone. Does anyone have any tips or strategies or 'ah-hah' experiences for RC? The 'click' moment -- when you start seeing the logical relationships with profound clarity and accurately anticipating answers/appropriate inferences for deducing answers, etc. -- hasn't occurred yet for RC.

PT 72 kicked my ass last night
RC -7
LR1 -6
LR2 -6
LG -2
Score: 164
I'm drilling untimed right now and then taking PT 73.

Does everyone feel the June 2015 LSAT will be harder than Feb 2015, but easier than Dec 2014?

74 in the books, 172
RC: -3
LR1: -1
LG: -3
LR2: -2
Fairly pleased with it, though it's a dip from my last 2. 172 has been my target all along, so here's hoping I can repeat Monday.
Good luck on the last couple days to everyone!

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
PT 73 just wrapped up
RC -1
LR1 -3
LG -2
LR2 -5
Score: 171
I switched 3 LR answers from right to wrong at the last minute. Which prevented me from getting a 174. Also took LR2 with a dog on my lap, because thunder scares the dog.
This is a nice bounce back and I think attributable to my not being tired or fatigued. Hopefully I can see this on Monday or higher. I still haven't determined what score would warrant a retake yet.
