Yep, like any other score release, the icons will go grey either the day scores come out, or automatically at midnight of the announced score release date if they haven't been released early. Icons still go grey because you still get some documentation back (writing sample etc)PourMeTea wrote:Do they go grey in Feb? LOL Just becase you don't have the numbers to get them, doesn't mean they aren't going out.HanShotFirst wrote:No school worth attending sends out unsolicited fee waiversPourMeTea wrote:Don't unsubscribe, that's how you get unsolicited fee waivers.pech71 wrote:Does anyone know how to unsubscribe from ALL e-mails from law schools telling you about how great their programs are? Which downtown are we talking about here? In parts of the city I live in, this is considered normal behavior.RobertGolddust wrote:Deep thought today folks...I am thinking about getting hammered and wandering around downtown with my pants upon my ankles until LSAC releases our scores...
Thanks so much. My library has The Abbey so I'll give that one a shot.Brumfiss wrote:Hey Han, got a few suggestions, a few sci fi thrillers mixed in if you're into that kind of thing.HanShotFirst wrote:I plan on doing a lot of reading to pass the time until score release; can anyone recommend a decent thriller novel? Perhaps something newer from a lesser known author?
Ancestor - Scott Sigler
Brainrush - Richard Bard
Wired - Douglas E Richards
The Abbey - Chris Culver
Public Enemy Zero - Andrew Mayne
Nightgame - Carol Davis Luce
And if you're into steampunk with magic elements (think Bioshock meets LotR) the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson is awesome and worth the time. Also First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie - similar fantasy elements but much darker.
