I've been reading for leisure again, started back my exercise routine, seen 3 movies in theatres, and hung out with friends. Oh and slept .

Sounds like a good poll question. Zhenders should set this up.

This is America, it's "gray" unless you're talking about Early Grey tea.

Oxford comma: yes or no?

Hmm, I don't know. I can't seem to find last year's waiting thread.

Found last year's thread. Looks like the boxes went gray, but it was a weird year because scores were not released until the official release day.

If we don't go grey I will be severely disappointed. This will also take away the heated drama which is deciding what to call it when it happens.

Do not forget to fill out your fafsa.

Most schools want it by Feb 15. You can only do your top 10 schools though

Oh crap, seriously? I thought it was March 1st. Also what if we end up deciding on a school we don't list? And can we put down schools we haven't applied to yet?

Gahh I'm applying late so everything is more confusing.

Icons WILL go grAy. Unless you're not in the US, then maybe they'll go grEy.

I'm pro Oxford comma personally, because there are a few situations for which forgoing it obfuscates meaning. I respect both positions on it though.

thevuch, you've seen THREE movies in theaters since Saturday? Geez, haha. Maybe I'll try to see all the Oscar noms. I loved American Hustle but was not at all a fan of Wolf of Wall Street, despite my love of Leo.

ETA: The best picture noms I have yet to see are Dallas Buyers Club, Nebraska, and Philomena. All are showing at my local AMC; which should I see?

I can only watch someone do nothing but drugs and f*ck for an hour, maybe an hour and a half. Three hours was a bit much. I get it, the dude was models and bottles.

Agreed. The whole time I was rooting for The Mother (as in, HIMYM Mother) to come back and get her revenge and take all his money or something.

Since more than likely it will be loans, I think you just need to switch them out and list them after march 1.

Just did mine today.

"When completing the FAFSA form, you will designate the names and school codes of up to 10 law schools to which you are applying. Additional schools may be added once the FAFSA is processed. I've been out of school for two years.

I know applying next cycle (after a retake if my Feb score isn't up to par) is the smarter move, but I somehow feel terrible that it has come to that... Anyone else in a similar situation?

I am. I am retaking from my October LSAT and I was hoping to boost my score up to get into my regional schools here in Florida. I just graduated from UF and I'm not really looking forward to sitting out a cycle. I feel like admissions are down and less picky, so I'm going to be submitting my apps in a few weeks and seeing what happens. But I won't know anything until I get the LSAT score back in March. A big ol' waiting game.

I've literally been searching the ends of the internet for this at work. I'm in exactly the same boat. I want to die thinking about working here for another year and change until 2015. also, everyone from undergrad that went straight through will be graduated by the time I start... with the assumption I bombed February. PM me if you want to talk more.

John Kerry didn't graduate until he was 32 from law school (He went to Syracuse)
Barack Obama didn't graduate law school until he was 30/31

These guys are doing just fine

Ronin Farrow graduated from Yale Law at 23, not to mentioned he deferred for several years.
