ETA - I kicked ass on the last 3 passages. got 3 or 4 more wrong I think. yea I know this sucks but it's an improvement ; 0

Best RC tip while answering choices: which answer is supported by the passage? Wrong answers often combine things you read in the text in an incorrect manner, or use language that is similar to the language used in the text. Don't be fooled. This can be subtle--such as a wrong answer mentioning something in the plural form when the passage only mentioned a singular instance.

For the which of the following could be true questions in LG how do you all approach them? do you test each answer choice or is there a faster way?

depends on which question it is. If its the 3rd or 4th question of the game you may have a diagram from a previous question that already answers it without having to test it (could also refer to an inference you could make from the start so it may be testing if you got all the inferences at the start) but if none of the above give you the answer then yeah I would say youd have to test each answer (IMO)

ETA- what I mean is, are the incorrect answer choices the ones that can be true, while the correct one is not necessarily true? I think I'm confusing myself further just by thinking about it :|

Must be trues are wrong

I usually read through first and am able to eliminate a couple from previous scenarios or find the correct answer. If it's like question 2, I sometimes will leave it for last and use the boards from the previous questions. After that I try the one I think is right. I feel like usually there is a rule where you're like "that looks right" just after reading it. If I try and it isn't correct, then I roll through the rest.

ETA: I feel like the majority of the time, the other boards will help you determine the answer, which is why I leave these for last. You don't want to spend a couple minutes on a question and then in the next question create a board that gives you the answer to the CBT question you've already answered.

In this regard, I like conditional questions where you can kind of have to make a new miniboard. That then usually aids in with CBT/MBT.

Thanks all! I always for get to use my dang mini boards. Also are all of you sinked up on a testing schedule? It seems like many are pretty close on testing days and tests

As soon as I read the words "could be false" my inner LSAT bloodhound switches to Must Be True mode. I usually go down the AC's and check off MBT in my head (check marks, NOT cross out)...

If the sky is purple, the water is red. If the water is red, it's because there is blood in the water from the werewolf I killed.
The sky is purple.

Which of the following could be false?
a) There is blood in the water "...Must be true, check."
b) I killed a werewolf "...Must be true, check."
c) The water is red "...Must be true, check."
d) I was attacked by a werewolf "...Must be... wat? circle."
e) The sky is purple "obv"
