Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
yeshhhhhh just did a games section off of pt 52 and got -2 and finished up right on time.
In all fairness I attempted these games probably 7 months ago but had no clue what I was doing so I think it was (somewhat) representative of my improvement. I didn't remember these questions at all, or any inferences (since I couldn't make any before HA) so hoping I will continue to do this well.
oh I also guess on 2... so I guess that makes it... -4? haha
my first pic !

Agreed completely with worldscollide. Thanks for keeping an eye open for it, Dirigo.Dirigo wrote:Very true. I missed this, but if they do it again, I'll get them to knock it off.WorldsCollide wrote: I also feel like it's not helping me personally when they say things like "Good luck handing in late apps. Smart people take in September."
Is it super nerdy that I am excited to PT 55 this weekend with everybody?

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Sad thing is I've been studying since about July, was planning to take Sept and haven't made any huge improvements since the 27th which hasn't been that long but its worrisome..nlee10 wrote:Welcome. There's quite a few of us currently scoring in the 150's. Together, we can break 160!calmtigers wrote:Hey folks another December-taker here who postponed Sept.
I'm starting to get really worried because I have still yet to break 160s mark. I am doing marginally better in LR (20s) in each section but my LG still hasn't increased and is varied, as well as my RC.
I've been drilling "weaken" LR for a day or so and just don't feel like it's doing much for me/not very motivating. Should I be doing a mix of practice every day? As in some LG some LR some RC?
I feel very motivated when I take PTs so maybe I should be taking a PT every other day or so?
Really trying to get into the 165~ range. (GPA 3.65)

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
scored PT 44 that I took yesterday. kinda bummed because i dipped in scores-- might wanna do some more drilling and content based stuff before i take another PT. after i took it i knew it was rough since the LR shook me a bit. my breakdown:
Actual: 153 (w/ BR: 161)
RC: -7 (w/ BR -5)
LR: -8 (W/ BR -6)
LG: -7 (ran out of time for the last game so basically guessed.. w/ BR -1)
LR: -12 (UGHHHH. damn it. w/ BR -9)
I gotta really go through and see where I'm going wrong. I know I struggle with Sufficient Assumptions and certain Flaw questions a bit dropped from my 157 on my last PT so I'm slightly frustrated with myself. I wanna get past that 160 barrier already, but I know slow and steady wins the race- gotta take that time to really analyze each question!
