Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Hey, I don't normally post but I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on what I should do. Just got a 169 on the September test ad have a 3.87 gpa, trying to go to NYU or Columbia. If you were me, would you retake this December or feel confident with the 169? I'm not applying this cycle, but I exhausted most of the PTs. Any advice on whether you'd take the December test in my shoes will help ease my anxiety

Could go back and forth about reasons for/against(mainly for) but this right there, you got plenty of time... unless you absolutely cannot raise your score I dont see reason to not keep studying and retake in maybe Feb or June so you can get things on point. As for exhausting PT's I havent hit that so cant really address itCarla36 wrote:Hey, I don't normally post but I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on what I should do. Anyone have a link for LR breakdown by question type that has newer PTs in the 60s? I've been using the one on lsatblog but it only goes to 59, and I tried searching here but couldn't find it.

Finally able to get into lsac to see what went wrong. LG and RC were pretty close to normal for me (-3, -3), but LR demolished me. Planning on following NoodleyOne's guide and powering through the next month and a half.

I was able to get up and get in 2 timed sections (with some down time to relax/wake up) if I can actively get through 2 timed after work + review and stick with it I could be in good shape... I just wish my manager from job2 werent on vacation lol I dont wanna text him to give him my 2week notice while hes trying to relax lolnlee10 wrote:slackerJgoods wrote:nlee10 wrote:Checking in 7:05am west coast. BTW, for those of us who did not take the Sept test, 7Sage is selling it on Nov 1-Nov 3 for a special price of only $6 along with an one-month access to video explanations.

eta: apparently im stupid and didnt know 7sage had a free trial (assuming its full access to their vids?) so gunna give that a shot when I get home to see how I like their LR/RC vids and then really think about 7sage v Velocity (incase I decide I can afford to spend the money)

Carla36, I would retake but not in December. If you retake now and don't give it your all, you're not going to necessarily do any better. I'm saying this just because you don't want to apply this cycle. Unless you KNOW you have the time and energy to dedicate to LSAT Prep again, then don't retake until you do have those things.

I haven't used this site very much yet, just heard of it myself a few days ago, but hope it proves to be helpful for the same reason.

Yes, I did it. I didn't do as many PTs as he recommends but everyone is different. It was a great jumping off point for me. Seven weeks is plenty if you had already built a good base from your first take and if you're willing to give up quite a bit of your free time. Aww, thank you. Was thinking to change it soon, but of course it will be another Alicia one. Julianna Margulis is so gorgeous.WorldsCollide wrote: You icon makes me happy. Please continue randomly posting so that I can see it
Bahahaha you are funny. I do have to retake; I won't see any money with this score, and I'm definitely locked out of the T6. Also, I know I can do better and prideful. But, not December, I don't think. I won't be able to do applications and work and studying. At least not well.justabitunusual wrote: Hey girl! I hope your retaking goes amazing! I will be LSAT cheerleader for December 2014ers and retakers alike.
