Yeah they're not. I've been averaging 178 over 10 tests. (eta: all retakes) I'm definitely not actually at that level.Dirigo wrote:I'm curious just how indicative retakes are.
Good practice regardless.

So, do you have fresh PTs to throw into the mix just to gauge how you're doing aside from the retakes, or is it confidence boost central until the 6th? I think the latter is a great plan. I don't remember if you mentioned exhausting your PTs.GreenTee wrote:Yeah they're not. I've been averaging 178 over 10 tests. ETA - how did your first try on these PTs compare to the retakes, score wise?

would say very much so not good indicators but solid prep, http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 6&t=150072 relatively new thread with good points (for those who just pop in and don't wander around other threads too much)GreenTee wrote:Yeah they're not. Yup, and even if I remember the subject matter of the passages, it's still helpful to focus on internalizing patterns of right and wrong answer choices and strengthening muscle memory in the process.Dirigo wrote: I expect the RC passages & questions are super memorable. I tend to forget LG and LR for the most part though unless I REALLY went over the question or game, so those especially are probably good practice.

I don't have any fresh ones left, but I'm not super worried about it. I'll just keep drilling as I have been, and trust that my skills are improving.Shakawkaw wrote: So, do you have fresh PTs to throw into the mix just to gauge how you're doing aside from the retakes, or is it confidence boost central until the 6th? My previous takes for 60 and 63 were 167 and 165, respectively. I think I took them both in June or July.

That's a good plan. I'm obviously rooting for you because I want to see the tattoo of your score happen.GreenTee wrote:I don't have any fresh ones left, but I'm not super worried about it. How did you grade PT 60 given that one question was removed for scoring?
I am asking because I also took it today and that one point in the raw score changes my scaled score so I really want to know.

Sup Ally. Big fan. The removed question is accounted for in the scale, since LSAC finalizes it after the test results come back & are analyzed. No need to adjust anything.parkcity wrote:How did you grade PT 60 given that one question was removed for scoring?

But if you struggled for time on that section, keep in mind that you would have had to solve one more question if you took the real thing.

Can you register for June '15 right now? I am not seeing that option on LSAC. Too early? Besides, withdrawing from Dec '14 would allow me to retake in June '15, right? I am asking as I have already taken the LSAT twice this year.

Thanks. I cannot find the withdraw option!mist4bison wrote:No, you can't yet. I think it opens late Dec, if I recall correctly from last year. thanks! I'm poking around the site and can't find it. I guess then I will have to just call them on monday and withdraw. not too concerned if I get money back or not. just don't want there to be any negative implications on my application by withdrawing after deadline and stuff.

I think the deadline is for changing date from now to feb... which isn't going to be me so we should be alright for june.lawjag2015 wrote:Same here. Guess, Monday it is.surf wrote:thanks!
