I've been riding my less is more approach for a few weeks now. I am a highly anxious person so it's necessary for me not to overwhelm myself with prep and feelings of doubt. Keeping a cool head.

Rigo, I know I've said things along these lines before, but I'm also a very anxious person. I also followed a "less is more"/'health and wellness above all else' mentality before September, and I really think it was a missed opportunity. Honestly, I think it made me more anxious on test day because I didn't feel as prepared as I could have been.

Of course there's nothing wrong with retaking (aside from the obvious fact that it sucks to have to study for another few months), but in my experience, trying to alleviate anxiety by reducing the amount of prep you do is not an effective strategy. The work will have to get done eventually. Better to get it over with this time, so that if you do have to retake, you'll have less ground to cover.

I feel this way. I am most likely retaking next year because I know with a couple more months of studying, my score can improve even more. But I am still prepping hard as if Dec is my only take.

I think it's gifs in general. I doubt Adsense would be able to tell the difference, but I'm not sure how it works exactly.

To thine own self be true Rigo. But GT has a point. I'm also a ridiculously anxious person and right now I'm just not even allowing my brain to go down "what if...." For the next ___ days, all that matters is where I am at any given moment and what I can do between then and Dec 5 to get to where I want to be.

Of course I'll re-evaluate from there because I don't want to "waste" my GPA but I know at least for me in the past, being too comfortable and "less is more don't get burned out etc." has left me not pushing myself as hard and as far as I know I can—Mist actually kind of helped me with this indirectly the other day—and part of the result (although it was mainly because of other uncontrollable life factors) is that I'm now a few cycles out from where I originally intended to apply. I don't know your GPA or undergrad background but for me, if I spent 4 years earning that, and I expect to spend another 3 years at YHS competing for my position at the top of the class, getting on law review, etc. then I better get my ass in gear and make this test my bitch.

The MBA app process is horrible compared to JD. I just got my boss to do a letter for LS, but now I'm gonna have to turn around and ask him to do 12 separate recommendation forms. I made him a pie, but I still feel like an ass.

Considering JD/MBA (taken me so long to get the LSAT together that if I go that route I'd definitely be doing GRE/GMAT in between hearing back from schools and starting in the fall, and applying for the dual as a 1L) But 12 separate LoR's—jeeeeeze, I don't know if I could even ask haha.

That's the horrible part. Every school has there own form or ranking sheet or something. So a letter will only fly for like 2 of them. I think the majority of the questions are pretty much the same so he should be able to just copy paste for the most part, but they are all different. He's forwarding them to me as I send them so I can put it all into one word doc that he can work on till hes ready to submit them.
