Perfect. Does she/he realize the honor implied by you going out with them the evening of THE EXAM?

took pt73 with as close to test day conditions as possible

rc: -5
lr1: -5
lg: -1
lr2: -5
exp lr pt61: -1 (but ive seen it before)
_____________
167.

pretty upset about this performance, cause ive been averaging around a 171-172. this was mostly due to my LR sections that i did pretty poorly on. did anyone else feel like the LR questions in the 10-15 range were weirder than usual? most of my mistakes were there. they just tripped me up for some reason.

its my last clean PT, so ill just be taking pt69 sometime this week as my last one. gonna look to thoroughly review 73 and see where i went wrong and shore up some things.

id love to hear your thoughts on 73 everyone!

I think I fell in love when he told me LG is super easy. Past law school hopefuls I've talked to/dated have bitched about LG being the hardest and I'm a bit turned off. #LSATsnob

But really I feel guilty because I have been putting off this date for what will be two weeks because of thanksgiving and my final push this week.

AHHH so he actually understands what it's all about. And more. That's ideal for an after-exam reward.
I totally get the "LG is super easy" turn on. I was getting destroyed by LG section after LG section for like the first two months of my prep and asked my bf to do a section (thinking he'll understand my struggles), and the MIT nerd just got them all right, not even having to diagram anything.

I totally agree. I just did the LR sections and LG from 73, and while I did better than in September (I never reviewed it, so I guess most of my improvement is actually skill-related) I went -1 in LR1 and -4 in LR2. -4 is the worst I've done in an LR section since I started drilling. I also was a bit rushed when lately I've been finishing sections with a couple minutes to spare. i feel like there were a lot of MSS and MBT, which tend to take longer, so that might be it. But I also think that answer choices were just really tricky. When I went back untimed the correct answers were much more obvious, but timed, the types of things that differentiated these answers were much less obvious. Kind of freaking out right now. Ugh

So, Dirigo. I think LG is super easy.

;)

Today, I've been redoing the pattern, mapping and rare sets. Gunna do some MSS and Flaw drilling (maybe just 25-35 each to keep it light). Then gunna go over answers I got wrong on PT 67 yesterday.

How do you guys review RC post-grading/BR? Feeling weird because I've been going back and forth between -2's on sections to anywhere to -8. I think I'm just illiterate.

Shak I'm illiterate too. I go between -1 and -9.

I just look at the answers I got wrong. No real BR, (so I guess no real gains) - I am too impatient for that s*it.

I feel like the LR from the last two exams (72, 73) was harder than usual / different.

Definitely more nuanced, imo. Which makes me nervous because I've had to teach myself not to read too into the language (cause I used to overthink q's). So, shit.

I would break up 73 into sections, do the games and LR 2.

67 is not very novel - I would look at game 4 in it though. I have not taken 71 and I don't have 72, so I can't speak to those. I will probably watch the videos for 72's games though, as I've heard good things :D

Last ones scheduled for me are 71 (probably tomorrow) and 73, in sections. Might take 68 on Wednesday.

Well, finished up PT73 (heads up - I did this as timed sections). Improved significantly from September, but I'm still mad about the second LR.
RC: -2 (-3 in September)
LR1: -1 (-5 in September)
LG: -3 (-6 in September)
LR2: -4 (-6 in September)
Scaled: 172. BR'd LG (which took me about 2 mins because it was all dumb mistakes that I caught immediately) and that brought me to 175.

I've also done PT 26 and PT 67 as sections. Got a 179 on PT26 and a 177 on PT67. I'm planning on doing one more fully simulated test and maybe another one just as sections. I'm also going to finish up drilling all the miscellaneous games from 1-38 (I've done about half) and maybe some more undetermined assignment because I panic when there aren't immediately a ton of inferences and it's more open-ended. I'm also definitely going to drill MSS because those showed up like crazy on PT73.

I'm feeling a weird mapping game coming our way too. I find that they're not even that difficult but I just struggle with them because they're not "normal" and so my skills aren't as honed as they are for more common game types.

Took PT61 today

-3 RC
-3 LR1
-4 LG
-3 LR2
-0 EXP LG

169 (88 Raw)

This was a pretty tough PT, missed all of the 4 points in the first two games of LG trying to rush anticipating a very hard G3 G4. That was kinda dumb. Took it in a super loud cafe at a huge table where people besides me were blabbing on some crazy shit. Test conditions couldn't get worse than this so I don't feel too bad for Saturday tbh

By God, I've been dreading the return of the mapping game on December's test too. I mean we got a circular one in Feb (which I find very easy to do), pattern in June, all time-consuming games in September, so what next for December?

Look, there will always be a time consuming game. Initial setup and deductions (if possible) up front will always be your way to the finish line. That's how I'm going in. I've done every game, so I know I'm prepared. Every year (from what I just searched), people ask the same questions. Can't stay too rigid and being able to alter diagrams to something funky is key.
