Does anybody else have an answer sheet that is "off"? or have writing overlapping the original text? My answer sheet from October 2012 online is viewable exactly as I took it on test day. For December 2013, there is black writing overlapping all of the text, and the answer sheet is shifted slightly in later sections. I tried to upload some images to help my explanation , because its difficult to describe. The first section, everything looks fine. In the last two, where I stumbled a little, the answers are definitely shifted over a little bit.

I kinda want to request seeing my actual answer sheet. Not sure what LSAC's policy on this is, though. If anybody has any experiences with this, please share. Debating a hand scoring since i was one question shy of my goal and consistent PT score.

Mine was shifted in December. WHat do you mean your answer sheet? You already have your answer sheet (scantron)..

i think LSAC takes scoring pretty seriously, so i feel they would've noticed this kind of aberration & credited you for the responses as marked, if the machine was screwing up.

that said, i don't think it would be a waste of time to ask them about it, or request hand scoring.

I don't understand what the problem is. In the online disclosure files your IRR report lists which answer choice the scanning machine registered for each question per section.

If you think they misread your answer sheet and scored it wrong, the proof would be on your IRR report page where it lists the credited answer choice for each question next to which answer the scanning machine registered from your answer sheet. Just look at your answers on the IRR page and make sure they are the same letters as what you bubbled for each question as shown on the scan of your answer sheet even though the scan shows them slightly offset to the left a little. If they misread/misscored any of your answers, you'll see the problem on your IRR if you simply compare it to your answer sheet question by question, should take about 2 minutes at most.

I've seen answer sheets with weird slightly offset scanning issues and other text overlay stuff before, it's nothing to be concerned about. It's just an issue with how they scan and generate the image of your answer sheet.
