Test masters???

Postby stef1330 » Sun Jan 05, 2014 3:32 pm

Anyone have opinions on test masters? I'm a junior taking my toastmasters course at Emory. I heard it was a great course. I already paid the trillion dollars for it, I just wanna know what others think. I had one buddy score excellent using it. I'm taking the June LSAT btw.

This sounds like a better course than any LSAT course.

I did the test masters course in 2009 in two locations in FL. I increased my score a total of ten points from initial practice to test day (156 to 166). I think the materials are quality and I remember being impressed by the abundance of real test questions in the books. I liked that TM let me transfer to another course midway in my hometown as I also took the June LSAT and moved home for summer. I went from having a very large class with an experienced teacher (who was also an attorney), to a small class of mostly working professionals and a frat boy instructor who taught barefoot right out of undergrad. The later was more approachable and willing to give individualized help before or after class. The class and instructor attitude will probably vary, however I do remember reading that all the instructors have passed rigorous training and all scored 170+ ( I think, mine scored 172 and was headed to U Chicago). Overall I would say Test Masters in worth the investment in the long run as long as you are willing to devote the three months of outside class study required to get results! I believe they had some great online resources, including practice tests, that come with the class.

Best of luck to you!

Dang it. My buddy from Harvard made a joke calling it that and it was stuck in my head. Sucks to suck I guess
