Re: June 2014 Retakers
You recently received an email regarding a change in your test center reporting address. Due to a programming error, your email address was included in a “bulk email” notification that was sent to all other June LSAT registrants at your test center. No other personal information was disclosed, and the error has been corrected.dasani13 wrote:I just got an email from lsac saying my test center info changed and to log on and see the changes on the website. But when I checked it, it said my ticket is not ready to be viewed, what the..?? The email also has the email address of everyone taking it at the center, which is kinda weird.
Please be assured that LSAC places great importance on the confidentiality of all information entrusted to us by users of our services, and we sincerely apologize for this error. If you would like to change the email address associated with your account, please log into your online account, choose MyAccount/Profile/Biographical and edit your email under “Contact Information”.

My streak of 180s ends today with a 178 on PT 55. RC was rough. Thought I'd scored higher but the curve was not so nice today.

I am taking them some combo of today/thurs/fri. Not looking forward to redoing 70 after dealing with it (or rather, not dealing with it at all) in October.dasani13 wrote:I was just gonna ask about 70 and 71. When are you guys planning on taking them?

I took this one today and got a 170 too! Pretty happy considering that curve was like -10 wtfdd235 wrote:170 on PT 63... I’m bummed.
I’ve recently been going -4 on both LR combined and -0 on LG... and then RC is a complete tossup that dictates my score. Got -6 on RC today. Ugh!!!
I don't know if anyone else did this but taking a two month break after getting back my Feb score was the best decision EVER. I feel way more relaxed and not burnt out!

Hmm, I’m scheduled for 70 in about a week and a half. I was gonna take 64 tomorrow but maybe I should switch it up. What does your review sesh entail? If I BR it on my own on friday morning will the group review still be helpful for me?dasani13 wrote:We decided at today's review of 61 that we're gonna review 70 Friday night. PT 54
RC: -6
LR1: -0
LG: -1
LR2: -1
Raw: 93
Score: 172
This felt way better than any of my previous PTs. I thought I did better than -6 on RC, but I didn't expect to do as well as I did on the other sections, so it evens out. If this were a real score I'd be ecstatic. Just gotta find some way to get better at RC grrr

Re: June 2014 Retakers
Sweet! Well count me in for review tomorrow night then! What time?
Scored a 174 on PT70 today!!! I am thrilled! I took this one for the real thing and scored a 160. I would consider this to be a fresh test for me because although I sat this test and obviously saw the questions, I never saw the answers or reviewed it (hopefully this logic holds up). Anyways, my breakdown was:
LR1: -2
RC: -3
LG: -0
LR2: -2
Raw 94
Scaled 174
I can’t believe I scored a 160 on this thing.
How’s everyone else doing today?

Nice. You seem to be killing it lately.
Btw, I also scored 160 on my first take then went to 170 in Oct. Hoping for even higher in June. So it can be done

Great job! I did PT 70 today also! I suffered through it in October and had a similar score, and also didn't review.dd235 wrote: Scored a 174 on PT70 today!!! I am thrilled! LG: -1 (last q of section, ran out of time. Definitely 7sage-ing these later)
LR 1: -4
RC: -4
LR: -3
Raw 89
Score 170

Re: June 2014 Retakers
Took PT 65 today. I previously took it in Sept. Even though that was eight months ago, I was likely still aided by the fact I'd seen the questions before.
I went:
-0 on LG
-0 LR
-3 RC
Raw 98 scaled 180
Wooooooo super pumped to hit 180 going into the weekend. I think it's my third ever 180.
RC remains my biggest obstacle; the last passage was crazy tough.
Anyway, how is everyone else doing today?

Woah, not a good day. Took PT 57 today...god, how did this happen?
LG -2
LR -1
LR -4 wut???
RC -1
Raw: 93
Scaled: 173
I've had an off day before where I really messed up, so I'm probably just gonna write it off as that...but this still sucks. I've been consistently going -0 on both LG and LR for 4 or 5 tests now. Wow. I'm so pissed.

Reb - Good job! Feels great to retake the test you took for the real thing and kill it.
JK - Congrats!!! I can’t even imagine how good it feels to score a 180, even if on a PT.
Today I’m just blind reviewing 70 and then I’m gonna try to join in on this review sesh

Yeah. After my other 180, I fist pumped and punched the light fixture, which led to shattered glass everywhere. Still worth it.dd235 wrote:Reb - Good job! Feels great to retake the test you took for the real thing and kill it.

How long did it take you to break the 170 from your first take at 160? thanks for sharingjk148706 wrote:dd235 wrote:Sweet! Well count me in for review tomorrow night then! What time?

Re: June 2014 Retakers
Looking at how much material I have left and how close we are getting to test day, I have decided that I am going to take a couple 6-section PTs by splitting up some 4-section ones. Anyone here have any experience with this?
When did you take your break? 3 sections - break - 3 sections, or 4 sections - break - 2 sections?
Also, when blind reviewing did you review all 6 sections or wait until you finished the final two “experimentals” on the next 6-section PT in order to review them as a whole PT?

I always do breaks after 3 sections, unless you are really doing some endurance work.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
