I would like to, but time zone problems means this is unlikely. :(

I think it's a great idea as well, but I'm afraid it would be rather difficult to make happen. So far, I'm for sure taking tests 52, 57-61, and 66-68 (there are some others, but since I'm not at home right now idk).

@ reb

true. I'm West Coast time.

Well, I've done PT 40 and 41 so far and plan to do the rest through 71, or whichever it is, by June.

Hey everyone, checking in.
Aiming for 170+
Just bought several bundles from Cambridge LSAT. Will read LSAT trainer for the first time and use the blind review approach.

Hey all, checking in as I start my re-prep. 168 on the Feb test (after a 174 PT avg - pretty depressing) and shooting for 175+ in June. Just bought the Cambridge LR packets to do some drilling and will drill RC hardcore starting in late March.

I typically get -0 on LG (and pretty sure I went -0 or -1 in Feb); is it worth drilling LG for the retake or should I just do a few timed sections and incorporate them into my PT schedule? I'm trying to max out my time on LR and RC to robotically and systematically eliminate my weaknesses.

Thanks all for the support - I have a feeling I'll be on here a lot in the next few months!!

Even if you're solid with LG, I would still incorporate it into your study schedule. Maybe you don't have to concentrate on it as much as RC/LR, but don't lose touch with it.

+1

I am very confident in my games ability, but there is no way I'm going to completely neglect it. I'd stay sharp with some drilling and 7sage video watching.

JK,

How's it going on your end?

I hit 49/50 Level 1 Flaw questions last night + review

Do you guys drill more than 100 or so Q's for one LR type before moving on to another?

I drilled all 228 NA q's earlier this week and got 219 correct. I reviewed only questions I missed and/or had any trouble with.

I'm doing must be true now and will prob wrap up review in half hour or so.

I might drill some LG today, then a PT tomorrow. I've been weary of overdoing PTs this time around, but I feel as though I need some mixed questions rather than just one question type at a time.

How long does it take you to finish up drilling one packet?

Just printed off my cambridge packet this week. It took so long to print off all the packets and 30 PTs. Plus i don't think my work was too happy about me holding up the printer for the 72 hours they give you lol

2-3 days, but it depends on how many q's in the packet/ how well I feel I've understood the q's and a's

Just finished MBT packet

Went 150/155 overall, with four misses in the level 4 category.

Drilling and reviewing is definitely helping me internalize the arguments, understand structure and what I need to look for. It's also been great to use the Trainer as a supplement

Anyone from Louisiana or Mississippi that would like to form study group? I want someone to study with in person; so, I can be accountable to someone. I am the worst procrastinator!!!! Any ideas?

Would anyone like to take and review PT57 this weekend?

Why are you taking most recent PT's this early in the study process?

No offense, but this is the Retakers thread. Many of us are further along in the study process.

Checking in. 165 on the Feb 2013 test, was PTing around 168-169. Aiming for a 170!

Third week into the Trainer and doing some practice problems on my own.

One question: I have the PowerScore bibles, the Trainer, and the books from Blueprint.
Do I need to get Manhattan books, or should I just go ahead and buy the Cambridge packets for further drilling?

No offense to you either, but you misunderstood my statement, or key word "early". Whether you are a re-taker or not is irrelevant to my statement. If you are a re-taker you restarted studying not too long ago, thus making you in the early process of your preparation for June test administration. Looking at it from a logical perspective, wouldn't you want to take the newer tests last, given that there is decent difference in the older vs newer test. Just my perspective.

There is a school of thought that you don't want to wait until the last part of studying to introduce the newer PTs, as the style has definitely changed over the years. Personally I am doing late 40s, 60s, then 50s.

I did misread the general premise of your first comment, however :)

Thinking PT today. Been drilling so far, but I think I might hit one PT a week so as to monitor progress, see where my weaknesses are etc

has anyone else exhausted all the materials (basically)? I'm sure there are some tests / questions I haven't seen from before the 50's (I will take stock this weekend) but I've taken every test from 50-71, some multiple times. I studied for about 6 months leading up to February and was scoring 165-169 but I bombed when I actually took. It's not like I don't know what my weaknesses are but I'm just nervous that whatever I score when I retake these tests aren't going to be representative of my "real" score. Granted, I'm going to wait until the very end to see anything 60's, so I'm further removed from it??? idk. someone else as to be having this problem right?

Sure. Not me personally, but many TLS'ers have exhausted their materials. It appears that recycling stuff you've already seen is still largely beneficial for improvement.

I'd say instead of burning through tests, drill your weaknesses.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
