I resolved the scope ambiguity differently, and assumed that when Bill said he almost bought the groupon for his fiancee's birthday, he was saying he didn't buy it (but almost did), not just that he didn't buy it for her birthday (although he did buy it, but realized that he shouldn't buy it for his fiancee's birthday)

There is/was a sushi place next to this strip club I used to pass on the way to work. I always found that distasteful, so to speak.

STILL, quite a turnout from Bill this morning! You get all the awards! LLH would be surprised tho she'd never tell you why

Hope you don't mind sharing JY tonight.

Hahaha, why not? It's not like I plan to keep him for much longer, anyway.

in this case I think it was best characterized as an instance of the former: the question is, did the "almost" govern the whole clause [bought this groupon for my fiancee's birthday] or just [bought]? the logical form could not be read off directly from the natural language sentence (mind you this happens a lot!)

note though that "almost" is inherently vague, as it can denote various degrees of closeness of a possible world to the actual world. this may be a source of confusion in other contexts, but was not what was causing our problems here

Just read everything I missed. The gif etravagnaza was a highlight, as was the buster revelation

Lets break down my two most recent PTs, shall we? Yes, we shall, because apparently I can't LR anymore.

70:
LR1 -0
RC -0
LG -1
LR2 -3 (all in the last ten minutes UGHHHH)
EXP LR -0
177

69
RC -1
LR1 -4 (????????)
LR2 - 0
LG -1
EXP RC -0
176

This is frustrating AF because it's like I'M SO CLOSE and yet at some point on each test I forget to focus on right answer circling.
happy with this recent RC improvement though! Feeling MUCH better after my 171 on Saturday. That stressed me out.

Is it weird that I don't find that sexy?

Not enough bulk/chest hair. I need a blonde beardless lumberjack.
