The thirst is real.
We will just have to confirm with bex when she is available-maybe tomorrow night, and we are doing it!

Guys, I have been away from TLS for ~3 days and this thread has jumped about 39 pages. I miss you all.
Took PT 52 today -- pretty sure I will be retaking in December; I finished the PT and thought to myself, "Self, there is no way you scored under a 168." Well, I was wrong. Just can't get my ish to all come together. Nevertheless, I am still sitting next Saturday and studying hard AF. (read: trying to force optimism)

There is nothing wrong with retaking, but please do continue with the studying so you are prepared to your fullest for upcoming week.

I've been breaking up RC sections from PTs 41-50 for my daily drilling since finishing the Cambridge difficulty packet. I did PT41 as a section last night and breezed through it to a -0. The passage drilling from PT43 has been absolutely busting me though! I did the second passage today - about Puerto Rican language shifts - and ran out of time, ending up with -2 on the section. It had nine questions - what in the world!? How can you do that in 8:45?!

Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
The passages are definitely chosen to fit into the section as a whole - so one super long passage would be included in a section with shorter passages so that it all balances out. When I'm drilling single RC passages or LG games I try not to beat myself up too much if it takes me 10 minutes (or, yuck, occasionally 12 minutes) to complete a passage/game. I assume that there would be another passage/game included in the original section that would take me 5 minutes so that it evens out.BJS wrote:I've been breaking up RC sections from PTs 41-50 for my daily drilling since finishing the Cambridge difficulty packet. Re: The Official September 2014 Study Group
I'm probably feeling better than I have at any point in my study process. I definitely feel more focused and more productive. I think the difference has been forcing myself to get sleep. I had been getting 5-6 hours of sleep - and going to bed between midnight and one - but I had to start getting 7-9 hours when I got sick two weeks ago. I don't have as much time to study, but my study time is far more efficient and I waste less time watching TV or reading articles on the Internet.sfoglia wrote:Anyone else running on empty? Sfogs - if you're not getting seven hours of sleep a night, I would suggest doing that above all else.
