Thanks! That's a relief.
What schools are you writing a why x statement? Only UPenn comes to mind. But are there other schools that YP as hard as UPenn?

sorry guise. i was just riffing on the petty debate of gray vs. grey that's taken place in every waiting thread i've seen.

but a night of debauchery can change more than a man's spelling of a colour, so i can't accept your input NR
Yeah, I think that cute Mexican girl brainwashed me in between the mezcal and the donkey show. Now I can only spell it "grey." There's probably a very, very cheap microchip in my brain.

It's gray. Buy a box of Crayola crayons and you'll see the light.

lol. I haven't been giving Mexicans enough credit on how they treat gringoes if they do cyborgian implants at their donkey shows. Shit sounds kind of awesome. Tijuana is now on my list of must visit places.

Final edits and the actual applications. I have the personal statements and the why xs done.
Actual apps take no time at all. You seem like you're in pretty good shape.
can you elaborate a bit on this one, Tea?

I am basically curious about this: once I have my LSAT score (say tomorrow, Friday, imminently), my 2 LoR's, my PS, my DS, and the money for application fees, I'm done, right? The process of submitting the applications on the LSAC website is pretty much checking boxes or filling in boxes and going through the pages, or am I really in for something here?

now, separately, I want to ask you guys a general question about why ? statements. I am interested in writing one for michigan and penn. my question is, is this something that I write as a one-page addendum in addition to my PS and DS?

alternatively, I was considering just rewriting the last paragraph of my personal statement to sort of create a soft "why x" within the PS. The way my PS is structured, I'm really talking about goals and reasons for choosing the school anyway, so I was kind of intending on adding a personalized touch to the PS for several schools in the last leg of the PS.

As much as I love this poll, how about one about how everyone is going to spend their time leading up to law school?

Possible poll options (check as many as apply):
Not applying this cycle
Finishing college
Travel
Indentured Cubicle Servitude
Netflix/Reading
Drugs/Alcohol
Video Games
et cetera
