Something less LSATy? Best of this thread so far, perhaps?

Maybe if everyone starts shitposting today we can have a "best of".
I think the earlier discussion about shitposting / the lounge / new TLSers scared off too many people for that to happen.

As a side note, finally have a personal statement that I can work with. Still need cut out some fat, but the idea is there at least. I've been oscillating between family time and long stretches of application / coffee time.

Always coffee time. Always.

I've never "foe'd" or "friended" anyone on this. Will you just not see their posts if you foe them? This is great great news

Friended. It would be rude not to reciprocate.

Are any of you retaking from the October 2012 exam?

I had to wait SOOO much longer to get my score because of Hurricane Sandy. I've never seen so many anxious testing waiters.

Try waiting with no internet and your house heated/powered by a generator

Definitely not a first world problem! I was lucky enough to be in Arizona with a bunch of waiters who weren't actually affected by the storm. Where were you at the time?

And were you actually anxiously awaiting you score? I would imagine you would have had a lot of other things to worry about!

Along the coast in CT. Shit was nuts.
I was back to school the day I got my score so it wasn't so bad then.

I was in the same position. Don't think any experience has ever made me so grateful for heating. I don't even remember thinking about the exam or my score. It was a while ago but as I remember it, I turned on my laptop shortly after having the electricity turned back on and found the LSAC email with my score in it. I wasn't even expecting it. It was all very anticlimactic.
