Re: December 2013 LSAT Waiting Thread
It seems that some of the schools have forms to fill out (name and basic info), and then they will send you a fee waiver code.retaking23 wrote:Hmm, and what is the best way to go about soliciting fee waivers? The tls guide says to simply state one's gpa and lsat when asking <<<-- is this still tcr?
I googled and looked around on their websites. For those that didnt have such forms, i emailed the admissions office. In a few hours, my total cost of applying went from $650 to $495 Anticipating for more schools to get back to me after the holidays!

I'm grateful I have no such person in my life because this post warranted a google search for "internal symptoms of sunburn". Well I'm not sure how your roommate gets a hold of your google searches and I'm not particularly good with pranks but, there seems to be potential (and maybe you've already done this in which case kudos) in the idea of turning this gag against your roommate and trolling them with your searches. Under those circumstances it would become hilarious exactly because it is not someone else!PourMeTea wrote:It'd be hilarious if if it were anyone else. Done with mine, but it's still sort of lame if that helps. I'm still tweaking my apps though. Definitely not ready to send them out without freaking out a few more times about potential typos.wealtheow wrote:should be wrapping presents. oops. someone please tell me i'm not the only one still [t]werking on a personal statement? one of my professors told me to scrap the one i had - he said it was totes lame-o (obviously verbatim what he said).

Re: December 2013 LSAT Waiting Thread
First, I think "twerking on a personal statement" should be the only proper way of referring to this process from now on.wealtheow wrote:should be wrapping presents. oops. someone please tell me i'm not the only one still [t]werking on a personal statement? one of my professors told me to scrap the one i had - he said it was totes lame-o (obviously verbatim what he said).
Second, I'm also still working on my ps. It always takes me a ridiculous amount of time to write these things. I have half a Mead notebook filled with nothing but opening sentences with lines running through them. Eventually I'll figure out how I want to start this out but not yet...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
