I think I agree with this. Especially about the red herrings. I didnt have the LR experimental, but I know I circled like 8 LR questions in all, which I found more time consuming and/or I wasnt completely percent sure of my answer, and that a bunch of the answer choices were way too easy to eliminate for these questions. I also remember feeling that there was TOO MUCH DETAIL.

I agree with both of these. TOO MUCH DETAIL. I would eliminate 3 quickly and then I'd be staring at 2 that could each definitely be correct depending on how you define a word. I have a feeling I'll be looking at the correct answers and still not know why one is right and one is wrong.

TOO MUCH DETAIL. Hopefully its just a psychometric trick to fuck with one's head. Glad I started bubbling answers after each question as opposed to doing it page by page like early on in my PTing..

YES!!!!!! TOO MUCH DETAIL.... I don't normally read into that but it made me think.

Took the full time on LG but overall did not think it was very difficult at all. pretty straight forward.

RC was pretty easy. Nothing too "confusing scientific" about it... thats what usually throws me off.

Anybody know if that second LR section with oil fields was exp?

Oil fields was real.

WHich would make the 3rd LR the exp???

I also got an extremely "odd" correct answer distribution in the 26 section LR....assuming I got most of those right...It was frighteningly unbalanced and I was tempted to go back and re think certain questions because of it, but I resisted that temptation....partly due to there being way too many to reconsider and party because I was pretty sure of my answers while answering those. But that one one was the LR with 25 questions....

Curve is not pre-determined. what they mean when they say this is that the authors of the test attempt to shoot for a curve score with question constructions.

I feel as though I should take a week off and start prepping for February. Anyone know the real LG? I got LG-LR-LG-RC-LR and it wasn't fun.

Ugh, just got back home. I thought it was horrendous.

RC was harder than October (although I had experimental and the sections kind of blurred together). Is the consensus that online game economy and Af-Am painter were passages from the real RC? There was another one with Mexican photography that I think was experimental...

LG was horrible. The 3rd game (summaries) took me for quite a ride.

The 2nd LR (26 Q) was bad. Did anyone else feel stumped by a Q about wildlife? There was also one about doctors and malpractice that I thought was pretty tough.

Probably cancelling. Le sigh.

Also, I'm pretty sure the curve is pre-determined. That's what LSAC uses the experimental sections for isn't it?

How do you know the first LR wasn't experimental?

I kinda assumed it was because it was so easy for me. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Do you remember any questions from that first section?
I think it might have been the Vitamin one, but I could be wrong.

We need to find out if the first one is real!

This is my third take, and I've been on this forum for a while now. So heed me when I tell you that the exp LR section is almost NEVER deciphered before score release.

My testing center was so TTT, there was someone there saying that he was hoping for a 150 and took a PT this week and got a 148. There were a lot of retakers retaking 140s, so here's to hoping for a -12+ curve!

How does everyone think that PT 71 ranks on a difficulty scale with 68-70?

Something I noticed this time but not last time.

Before we started the test we had to answer those questions about how familiar we are with smartphones, tablets, and touchscreen typing. I didn't notice this on the October test. Is LSAT thinking about going digital?

I also had LR, LG, LR, LR, RC

I thought the 2nd LR killed me. The first one started with a "fill in the blanks" SA question. Did yours start too? I am hoping that was real because I also felt it was easier. The 2nd LR killed me, I didn't finish on time :(

Then it probably is that one. It was the LR that I got first (not completely sure it was 25 or 26 to be honest), but it was the only one with the said distribution.

If first LR was real (I had lr-lg-lr-lr-rc), then I feel pretty good about this even without a great curve. If not, I needs dat good curve.

It always amazes me how thick people are about what they can and can't discuss, but for the record TALKING ABOUT THE DISTRIBUTION OF ANSWERS IS NOT KOSHER. Edit that shit out immediately or you're gone.

For LR, vanilla/chocolate 25q was real, and concrete cracking/drying 26q was real. I agree with all of the previous posts that LR is getting weirder, but not necessarily harder. I had a LRX and I thought that it easily could have been one of the real sections. I should have known that it was unlikely that a Section 4 was exp
