Since you guys/gals seem to be in a welcoming mood, Im just saying hello and trying to drop my "lurker" status.

BTW, anyone know what the exp RC was?

Jk, jk. I actually try to live up to the LSAT hype and read through the forums/threads that might actually answer my question before asking it.

On a serious note, is there anyone out there who had a really bad gut feeling right after the test and then felt much better the next day? That's how I felt, and I'm scared it's just my brain trying to rationalize its failures and shortcomings.

SO on day 2 of my work week I realize that I feel completely lost not having an LSAT to study for. Today i'm going to go thrift shopping to pass the time...

I was jk about the exp RC :D But yeah I think you're right about perceptions. Honestly, I had to guess on 2 of the last ?s in my third LR (those really burn me out) but otherwise felt fairly confident, with the exception of LG. The weird thing was LG--I finished them all but felt EXTREMELY unsettled. I don't know if I was just rushing to finish or what, but something just didn't feel right. Time will tell.

Long time lurker here.

Going to be a tough wait until January 3rd. My memory of the test is a blur. If it was a disaster for some of us, at least we get a month of ignorant bliss.

Don't know what to do with myself post-LSAT. Now I drink coffee after work to prepare for absurd Netflix binges.

I'm really considering canceling my December score. I'm feeling pretty bad about it, as I was PTing in the 160-163 range prior to the test and I am confident that I scored within my range but I don't want this score to be a detriment to me in the future as I know that I will have to retake June and apply next cycle. I heard that schools just take your highest score nowadays, but I'm concerned as I see on many school's websites that they consider all scores. Should I cancel or should I wait until January to see what I get?????

Relax dude, don't cancel. Enjoy the holidays and drink some beer. Take it again.

That's really your call, and I usually recommend waiting to see what you end up with. However, if you were PTing in the low 160's, then you'll need to retake anyway most likely (unless you're aiming for regional schools). So, I guess it's up to you, but keep in mind most people feel that they didn't do well after the test and the feelings are just anxiety powered. Also, a retake isn't going to hurt you unless you're aiming for HYS (even then, you can sometimes make a case for them to consider the higher score).

Yeah, it is a tough call. I know that I'm going to have to retake, and I'm aiming for a 170 and the MVP range, which an emphasis on P. The reason I'm considering cancelling is because I know for a fact that I didn't score anywhere near a 170, and I know that I'll have to retake anyway, so at that rate, I might as well cancel. If I get a 160-3, there is absolutely nowhere that I'm even willing to pay the application fee for that will accept a score that low. That's why I'm on the fence, but leaning more towards canceling.

Anyone else anxious about the wait to see our scores?

I think that is a pretty common theme for all waiters threads, so yeah most in here are probably anxious/excited to get scores. Then there's those of us who are just here for the October Waiters Reunion.

I meant extraordinarily anxious.

How does GabeQuixote respond to RCO2012?

D) he qualifies his earlier statement
